Do Postal Workers have the "right" to not be exposed to nudists?

  The United States Postal Services employees, both male and female, have been delivering the mail to The Deer Park Nudist Resort in Devore, California for decades. There has never been a problem.

  I remember years back when Fed Ex came to my home and I was naked.  The young lady just smiled and was friendly.  We talked for a bit, drank some Coca Cola, and enjoyed the conversation.  Nothing sexual ever happened, and never had any problems with that.
  UPS, on the other hand, they didn't like where I lived so they wouldn't even get on the main road coming to my home, even though they were turning around 3-1/2 miles from it.

  I was at White Tail a couple of weeks ago, and it seems the mail boxes have been moved, to the other side of the road, and farther back from the gate. Now the "offended" mail carriers will have to work harder to see a nude body and be offended, again. :)

  My Fed Ex driver was attempting a delivery at my neighbors. No one was home so he knocked on my door and asked if I would accept the package.  I was naked and didn't go to the door, and told him I was. He replied, No problem...I won't look. I opened the door...he kept his head down. As I was signing, I noticed he gave me the once over. I said "hey, you're looking!"  He just laughed! I have signed for all my packages naked since then...No problems!!

She was obviously trying to see a naked man then, because the gates open with a key card, or by having the office open them, so I don't believe any man was outside the gate nude. Only residents get mail delivered and I can imagine that a resident would would do that, knowing the trouble it could cause.
  
  And vendors are inside the gates making deliveries all the time, and none of them had an issue with nude people. I think the carriers were just looking to be offended.

If nuding was generally accepted then nudist clubs, resorts, beaches, etc. would not be set apart from textile beaches and the clubs be in more remote areas. For reasons that I may not agree with, nuding offends the majority of the population. That is why so many communities have banned public nuding. Having postal workers complain about having to deliver mailinsidea nudist club is and would be a legitimate workplace issue. Now that the mailboxes have been moved to the roadway outside the club it would seem that the issue has been resolved.
  Trying to make this into a big government v. little government or any other argument is just additional proof that the OP's main reason for posting is to stir the sh*t (aka trolling).

  Generally speaking a nudist venue is a known entity in a known location. As such, it is on a route and may be staffed by a nudist in work cloths. A random house on a street where a nudist answers the door while nude may be unexpected and shocking. Normal people may be able to deal with it. However there are those who find fault with everyone and everything just waiting to cause an altercation.

  Being a textile society in the  textile Western World one does not expect to encounter nude people in the course of their rounds for the Postal Service. If a Postal worker is regularly confronted by nudes while delivering mailinsidethe confines of a naturist club they have every right to complain if they find it offensive.
  The Postal Worker's right to complain about their working conditions; specifically being forced to deliver mail inside a nudist club has nothing to do with the existence of a nanny state. There is nothing to comment upon when you make such an absurd statement except the observation that you will take any/every opportunity to make things appear to fit your political views. This has no more to do with the theory of a nanny state then it does with tomorrow's weather!

  The mailboxes were always outside the gate, however where they were originally located was closer to the gate. Now they are on the opposite side of the road, farther away from the gate, and completely out of view of the gate, so there is no chance of the letter carriers being "exposed" to nudity. Unless they try to be exposed to it. :)

  [/quote]The issue here is that the letter carriers may have looked in the gate when it opened, as someone was leaving, and might have seen a nudist at a distance. The office and clubhouse are 1/4 mile down the road from the gate, so like I said, they were more that likely trying to be offended.
  
  Here in Virginia, if someone answers the door nude, the nudist can be charged with indecent exposure. In fact, if someone sees you nude in your house, because you left the blinds open or something, you can be charged. If they have to work at seeing you, like you're in your backyard surrounded by a privacy fence, and they peek over, you can still be charged, but you have a better defense, because they peeped.

  No one else has a problem delivering to the resort. Other vendors go inside the gate. Soda machines are filled and serviced. Cable, phone, internet hook ups are installed and serviced. Mobile homes are placed on permanent lots.
  
  How long these 2 have been delivering there, I don't know. But I can't imagine that anyone in the area doesn't know what White Tail is.
  
  I've said all along, they were trying to be offended. Mail was delivered to boxes outside the gate. It was never an issue before the carriers tried to make it an issue.

  I like the Amish. One of my kids went to college in the Amish area of Pennsylvania.
  
  The Amish are not all that pious and they did not hide their other side very well when they named some of their towns: Bird-in-hand, Blue Ball and Intercourse. We went to visit Intercourse just out of curiosity. It is a 12 horse town that probably gets 80% of its income from tourism and they have only one attraction, the town name. You can buy souvenirs made by the Amish (or made in China to look the Amish made it) or get a horse and buggy ride. I bought the hat that said "Virginia is for Lovers, but Pennsylvania has Intercourse." I wore it to work one day. On the bus in Jersey City, NJ, a woman was staring at me reading the hat. All of a sudden she had that aha moment, covered her mouth and shrieked.
