, im not really a nudist/naturist , but recently i was SO stressed, busy and stuff ,,, i had a huge urge to take of my clothes. so i did ....
and it felt like i could breath for first time. all te stress was gone, like i peeled it of while undressing.
i could think clearly again. so weird. i enjoyed the moment of being naked. and then i needed to put on my clothes again ;( ,,,

I had heard of "nudist colonies", but never really understood nudism before. One day several years ago, I was undergoing some very stressful times so I googled 'stress relief' and nudism came up. I began to read about it and realized that I ha been a nudist all of my life. No certification or test required; like being nude? You're a nudist. I do it as often as possible and wish I could do it socially more than I have. I wish my area had more nudist activity, closer.

Yes. It's quite stress relieving to take a walk nude in the woods, and much nicer to work the garden that way. I've heard many people say it's their means of stress relief. I don't know why that is, but it is. There may be something about clothing that doesn't match our bodies electrical field. There is something in the Bible (God's instruction to the Israelites in Leviticus I think) about not mixing linen with wool in a garment, I've always wondered why. There may be a clash between those two that's not good. Ideally just get rid off the clothes entirely, but we can't and keep living in our society that demands clothing. But I can choose a lifestyle that comes as close as possible. Gardening on my mountainside I can discard them quite a bit.

There are accounts on here from other members telling about how they liked being nude, but never considered themselves as nudist, then one day finally realized they had been a nudist all along.

I am self-employed and with having to make weekly payrolls, collect money owed, and keep the job pipeline filled with future work, it can sometimes get a bit stressful. When things are particularly tense, I will go to one of my favorite locations and lay naked in the sun or go for a naked hike. An hour or so of naked time provides amazing stress relief.

I drive truck for a living. You want to take about built up stress. try driving a big rig in a big city all day with all those crazy people who think that they know how to drive. first thing I do when I get home is get naked. I can feel the stress just fall off me as I strip. Weekends are always totally nude and by Monday morning I'm ready to walk out that door again. Even though the hardest thing to do is get dressed on Monday morning.
