Just getting into nudism

Hi,  My wife and I are 51 and are finally getting into nudism.  We have a place in FL and swam nude at a remote beach and have decided to take a trip over to Haulover beach in the fall and really do the nude beach thing.  It is really exciting to think about us being on a beach, in the sun with others all nude.
We are both smoothies and have been for years.   Love any advice you want to give us.  Any experiences, places to stay close to Haulover, etc.

    Welcome to the club!  Can't help with Haulover, though - I've never been there.

    B. Be very glad you live in Florida where the outdoor nudist season is quite extended. Here in the Polar north it is usually only 4 months.
    C. I couldn't agree with Bill more.  Unless you have extenuating circumstances that cause you to delay that long, I predict you will hate on yourself for waiting it out and wasting that valuable nude time.

    Also might want to visit Cypress Cove.  Its an excellent place.

    Just get out there and do it! You will wonder why you waited so long. You have lots of places to try it out in Florida.

    Why wait till fall? You will have wasted a whole nother summer. Go there the first chance you get, and get on with your nekkid selves. You won't regret it, but you will if your wait until fall.

    We've been to Haulover in February and it is still warm enough to be nude, but the water isn't much fun to swim in. Find someplace close and go now! Then when you get to Haulover it will be that much more relaxing.

    Thank you everyone for your posts and advice. I really like this site because unless you are into nudism it is hard to talk about with others who are not into it.

    I wear T-Shirts and Sweatshirts with nudist resort logos most of the time when shopping etc. Occasionally I will be approached and ask questions. Never had a bad experience. Met a new girl friend once. But I do live in Southern California.

    i visited Haulover Beach while I was on holiday in Miami (I'm from the uk) and that as the first ever nudist beach I'd been to. I stayed at a hotel near South Beach although I've forgotten the name of it, but it was only about a 20 or 30 minute drive.
    Don't wait for visiting, if I didn't have to have a 10 or so hour flight I would be there all the time.
