I listen to most types of metal as long as it's REAL METAL. My main thing is black metal ie. Dark Funeral, Sargeist, Bathory, Satyricon, Mayhem. But I'm also into 80s stuff like Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Mercyful Fate, Venom, Possessed.

Nice. I'm into SOME new metal but for the most part I'm stuck in the 80's. Especially late 80's Thrash Metal. Like you, I can't stand fake metal, like hair metal and glam rock. The only thing worse than that is rap metal, which to me is blasphemy and a abomination. You ever hear of Systems Rebourn? I Was the guitarist and founder. We were a Thrash Metal band in the late 90's, though most people considered us power/groove metal. A Cross between Pantara and White Zombie. Anyways, rock on and like we use to say in the 80's, Death To False Metal!
