Media pending approval

What does it mean when media (uploaded pictures) says it's pending approval?

Will it be approved automatically when my certification is approved or are those unrelated?

I submitted my certification yesterday, so I assume it should be approved soon. I'm just not sure if I'm supposed to do something about the 3 pictures I uploaded that are pending.

    The only relation is that the same person has to do the approval, but different process for each. This is not a full time business for the owners. They get to it when they get to it, and it's usually not over the weekend. Give it a day or two.
