  Why are you folk talking about being "in the closet"?
  Do you want everybody to know you are a nudist? Why?
  When I tell people I go to the beach, and they ask which beach I go to, I just say the name of it. Only when someone asks if he/she can join me, I say it is the naturist beach I go to.
  My best friends know that I am naked at home, also when they visit me. Some take off their clothes as well and some prefer to wear clothes.

  When I get to know someone better, and he/she might become a friend, I will invite him/her to join me for my weekly naturist swim. That is a good way to start talking about naturism without the "now I have to come out of the closet" atmosphere. (May because I am gay the word "closet" has a stronger meaning to me)
