Nudism and the church

I have been searching but there is a lot of contradicting information. What are the churches views on nudism? And are any of you Catholics?

    My mother was German Lutheran. She convert to Catholicism to marry my father. I was then raised as a Catholic with a German Lutheran accent.

    The Catholics are taught that we are not to expose our private parts to the other sex except to our significant other. This is based on the Adam and Eve story in the Bible. To the Catholics the Bible is known as the Old Testament to distinguish it from the New Testament with scriptures related to Jesus.

    What I question, is why would Adam and Eve be ashamed of the bodies God created? Should they not be ashamed of their disobedience?
