I have tried shaving, but I am way too lazy to shave regularly, I don't even shave my face on weekends. Waxing is too painful and laser it too permanent for me. However, if you are interested - go for it. If you don't like it, it will grow back pretty fast.

shaving your bush does make your cock look bigger. and shaving the shaft and balls is nice too. My bag is large and hangs low, never too many hairs but the feeling is really nice. Might be itchy until you get used to it. I have gone in cycles of letting grow and shaving. I have done both and prefer the trimmed, look as does Mrs Nudeduo. I have hairy legs and a bit of a hairy chest and stomach so it looks a bit odd if i shave my pubes. At the end of the day it comes down to what you like. Try it, if it is not for you let it grow back or trim it.
