  YES. Most of these topics have been covered in detail over the past years. Not many forum readers are interested in writing and reading the same things again and again.
  Also, break your topic into 10 different topics, post 1 topic every 2 or 3 days. You may receive many replies in this way.

  The only person I have told it to is the woman I was dating and eventually married. Some other folks have found out or suspected, but not through my telling. It is not I mind others knowing (if somebody asked I would confirm it), but being a private person I don't readily share personal details.

  I always tell people to just be yourself...only nude! Whenever I'm asked by younger nudists who are just getting into it I basically tell them to just explore and do what's comfortable for you. Don't worry about what other's think! I have a tendency to be a bit self conscious now that I'm past 50 but it is what it is.   1. Seems like the default state, so why not.
  2. "Walking around" is the not-so-great part; it's best to be nude where you can do the usual things that interest you.
  3. No. I would no more hesitate to look at a person's body than I would to look into their eyes.
  4. Imagine that you are visiting another country with a different culture - you are there to observe and learn.
  5. Sun, mosquitoes, cold - if you sense a downside, move to a more comfortable situation or put on clothes; they're a useful tool.
  6. No and yes. Anything that makes me more comfortable in my body will be reflected in how I use it to relate to people, but aroused *because* we are naked, no.
  7. If you have that sense, then put down your ever-ready towel.
  8. No. People at resorts and campsites are very protective around safety.
  9. No - because I don't like defining myself with an identity. I do tell people we are casual about nudity, and I don't avoid noting trips to nude beaches and whatnot.
  10. All the rules have been written a zillion times. I think the best is from Miss Manners: Nudism is a social convention under which people behave, naked, as they would clothed.

  In rebellion against pornographacation of nudity mainly. Other reasons minor.

  Nothing all that great, just feels free kind of, wearing mesh shorts is little different except for the mental part, back to no. 1.

  No, I can accept everyone for who they are, nobodies perfect, age and deterioration happens, part of life, starting to happen to myself. Being honest about what and who we are and what condition we are in is good for us.

  4. How should I prepare mentally if I plan to go to a naturist/nudist beach for the first time?

  Start trying to imagine everyone nude and seeing it as normal life, no lust, no obscenity, no issues, just humans in real life, nothing to hide.

  5. What's the downside to being naked all day?

  Bug's, cold when it gets cold, vulnerable to briars and stuff, but more positive benefits than negative.

  6. Does being naked all day make you more sexually aroused than when you're clothed?

  No, the more time spent naked the more normal and non lust inspiring it comes to feel, some even forget they're naked and almost walk out in risky places before remembering, Oh! gotta put something on.

  That's why towels are universal requirements at naturist venues.

  Occasionally when it becomes beneficial, only when it seems they would benefit from the knowledge.

  Many, but they're all common sense to anyone who's been properly educated in social etiquette, same basic rules anyone would follow to get along with anyone else. And just because nude is different than the rest of society, the temptation to new comers is to stare at those parts that are normally covered, but that's inappropriate, treat it all as if everyone were normally dressed until nude is no big deal to the mind. That is; intentionally ignore the fact the no one wears anything until our mind gets used to it and settles down. Anything different is that way, orange hair, weird clothing, attracts attention until it's accepted as common and we quit paying attention to it.

  What is so great about being clothed? You gain a great respect of self acceptance and acceptance of your peer when you are on equal ground.

  Why? After a very short time you never even notice they are naked.

  The first 10 minutes is the worst. once you realize nobody cares you are nude you begin to relax.

  I use the "ask/tell" policy. If they ask, I tell. If they don't ... well you know where I'm going with this.

  Sexual excitement maybe true for newbies who still believes that nudity is sex and sex is nudity or nudity should/will lead to sex.
  When you've been involved in this lifestyle long enough and frequent enough, you'll learn that nudism/naturism is not sex and vice-versa.
  The distinction between the two becomes clearer. Besides, naturist/nudist events are not sexually charged.

  No. The office runs a background check on all visitors.
  The community keeps an eye on everyone. If you behave badly, you may be asked to leave.
  If your behavior is deemed egregious, you can be banned.

  minimalist75, We both get 30 vacation days a year and can carry over up to 90 days and every few years will take an extended time off from work, where we will be off for 45+ days straight

  As for supplies we are either at a nudist resort where we can buy supplies or where people who deliver there expect to encounter nudist.

  Or if we are at home we order on-line and have food delivered, but usually we prepare for our extended nude stay.

  And YES we have had unexpected visitors while being nude or the occasional delivery where we have had to sign for

  --Yes, but it does have to come up in relation to a conversation or discussion

  --Yes, there are a lot of nudists that judge or segregate themselves (age was called out in #3) and most nudists associate with others based on some other qualifiers. Pick your friends wisely and don't fall prey to segregation as it's not doing the nudist community any favors.
