Ive been here for about a week (not sure how long I can claim to be a newbie). I never heard of this site in the past and never dreamed a site like this existed are there others? Im really happy to be here (despite some hesitations on who to follow) and Im truly impressed with the number of groups and topics here (despite the number of dead groups no posts in years). In my scouting, I happened to stumble upon a couple of Christian groups and thought how cool is that?! Again, I never heard of such a thing (meaning a community of people) and thought how wonderful to worship in the nude I dont know, I always feel closest to God when Im in the buff. Now dont get me wrong, Im not overly religious but thought it would be nice to be with people and go to church with other people comfortable in their own skin. After thinking how cool and after diving into some of the group discussion threads, I found that Gays are not really welcome. Okay, thats a little weird to me but I can see other peoples viewpoints and respect them. Im certainly not going to go into that group and stir shit up but it made me wonder if there were any gay tolerant naked worshipers. I started searching the groups for MCC (Metropolitan Community Church) and found nothing. Since gays are generally not accepted in the traditional church, it would be nice to see a MCC group in here somewhere no, Im not volunteering like I said, Im not that religious but occasionally it would be nice to go to church.
