What do you like best about being nude with others?

Hi!
As i mentioned before my wife and i are new to being nudists.  Here is my question - What do you like best about being nude with others?
For us it is the feel of the breeze or water on our shaved skin when outside. Sharing the taboo of being naked with others.  It is plain exciting to us.

    Great replies to my post!  Thank you!  As we are just getting into the nudist life it is so helpful to hear from others.  I would say Yes it is also a turn on to be nude with others and that does not mean it is about sex but just about the excitement of being naked with others.

    Myself,  i enjoy the true being of the person Im conversing with. Being nude and floating in a pool with others I find the woman who dresses to the hilt with her clothes and jewelry and hair and nose in the air comes down to earth and is a lot nicer.  The big burly guy with tatoos? He becomes a gentle giant.  And the professional business man.  He too has a calmer demeanor.  Maybe not all... But many anyway

    To me being nude is very liberating. I'm at peace with myself. I enjoy interaction with other nudists and I find an honesty and friendliness that I've never experienced in a textile situation. Even when dating, if I can remember that far back, there was never the closeness that one feels in being nude. This just refers to social interaction and has nothing to do with sexual side of romance.

    I like the freedom, the openness, the sun and wind on my skin. Waking up, getting out of bed, and just walking out the door without stopping to think about what to put on. I live in the middle of 40 acres, so I don't have neighbors close enough to worry about. My wife doesn't go nude at home as much as me, but she loves skinny dipping and hates wearing a suit any time while in the water. She usually just wears a t-shirt at home. We went to our first nude campground last summer and, to my surprise, she loved it. As others have said, the people are so much nicer at a nude campground. We have camped in textile campgrounds for over a dozen years with the same people and we always comment about how the regulars don't like us around. They are usually not rude, but not very open. On our one weekend at the nude campground, we met and talked to almost every person who walked by. They are way, way more friendly. We are already planning on going back this summer.

    I like being naked with others because it reinforces the goodness of social nudity.

    For several years I was a home/backyard/sneak some nudity on remote beaches nudist. Then I made a trip to Playalinda, a very popular nude beach in Florida. When I stepped onto the sand with hundreds of naked people all around going about their business, I knew social nudity is a Good Thing.

    When I am nude with others we are all just people and we are all just THERE.

    [/quote]I think what I like best about it is that we all have something in common and are accepting of one another no matter what.  Except one a-hole here at the site and one ol' bitty at one campground, everyone I have met at the site or in person at campgrounds has been very nice.  Everyone always seems to be so at ease and relaxed.

    What I like about being nude at home, including working at home, is their sheer comfort of it.  I do wish my privacy fence in my back yard was higher and in better condition, but it's not my house or my fence, so I suppose it will have to stay.  I would have already replaced it, otherwise.

    i just feel so much more comfortable being nude. i also find that nudists are more open and unpretentatious, lets face it, once you have your gear off, you are who you are, not, who you try to dress to be.harley

    I don't have any nudist friends on the net or elsewhere but have found that being nude in a beach situation is so liberating and unbelievably stress free.

    The camaraderie.

    Certainly, you can find the same thing in the textile world with great textile friends.  But it's still rarely as spontaneous and as liberating when no one is wearing clothes.
    • I witnesses first hand the transformative and liberating benefits of nude social interaction with my GF earlier this year.  We went to St Mart., and she agreed to a Club O. trip, all the while reminding me that she thought it was "weird."  Well in spite of her reluctant state of mind, we met other nudists, and we started socializing.  Initially, my GF was taken aback by those "naked people" talking to her.  But then she just started going with it.  She decided to go topfree.  And then nude.  At the end of the day, and as I watched her stand there after swimming, completely nude and chatting with one of our neighbors, I understood that the liberating effect of nude socialization had made its impact on her, even though she'd been completely against the idea when she first arrived at the beach.
    • I asked her later that day to recount her feelings about the situation.  And she expressed that in spite of her initial resistance to nude socialization, she'd come to appreciate the dynamic of talking to a nude person.  It's just seemed natural, beyond her expectation of the contrary.  Which in turn had made her feel that "hiding" was unnecessary.  Finally going nude while talking to a "stranger" made her feel liberated because her taboo had been broken, and she could actually enjoy the "spontaneous connection" of being nude with another person.

    Naturism is a hugely liberating experience, but when other people are naked around you, too, you feel like you are part of something even greater, and have a common understanding of the world. And it is even more liberating to find that being in a state that some unfortunate souls would find awkward or even offensive has the opposite effect on your present company.

    The more normal the activity you are doing, the more liberating it is, so nothing beats walking naked in the woods, for example - except walking naked in the woods and seeing other naked people walking towards you!

    Going to a place where I can shed my clothes,means I can also shed all the stress of everyday life.I can forget about work,about paying bills and everything else associated with the textile world.

    I have just returned to Australia from Vietnam where nudism is shunned and social nudity is taboo. (Just found out my wife's ex haidresser runs around her house naked, bummer).

    So back here for a fortnight and already been to a local nude swim night and spent a nude afternoon at a friends place both of which has lifted my sagging spirits tremendously.

    I love and am nude every chance I can, but its far better and uplifting to be nude amongst others.

    It's like playing golf. You can do it on your own. But it is so
    much more enjoyable when you do it with other people who are as
    passionate about the sport as you are. Golf is a social sport. So
    is nudism. Naked golf with others is of course the ultimate delight
    ....

    The best things to do with others is walking on trails in the moutains and discover the great mother nature
