So, at least to my knowledge, no one talked bout this event, at least in the forum. Shame, shame lol. Well, allow me to fill you in! :D
On June 1 & 2, Las Vegas, Nevada will be sponsoring our own nudist expo! It'll take place at Alexis Park All Suite Hotel, across the street from the Red Rock Hotel and Casino. There will be keynote speakers such as the president of the AANR, Susan Weaver, as well the president of sites like NudistClubhouse.com and SingleNudist.com (not promoting, just stating :P). Sadly the convention itself isn't clothes-free, but there are a few clothes-free events you can attend to as well, as long as you buy the tickets in advanced :P (separate pricing, see below). There is an option to stay at a clothes-free hotel, but space is limited!!!! To stay at the Alexis Park hotel, however, starts from group rates as $79.00. The expo itself will cost $15 to attend both days until March 31, then it bumps up to $25, so order now! We'll also have our own Terra Cotta visiting! :D

You can find more information/register on this link: nudistclubhouse.com/expo.php
And yes, this originally was an invitation for those who are members of NudistClubhouse.com, but figured we're all nudies, we can ban up together! :D
***EDIT***
I'm have strange difficulties hyperlinking the site, so just put www in front of the link :3

RadManYoOriginal PosterMay 1, 2012@TT2: That is awesome! What on earth would cause them to say you're not invited? I would protest, I would :P

jaybirdsMay 2, 2012Hey All!
We'll be there helping to promote our new C-O B&B through the C-O Home Network!
Hope to meet some of you TN's in person!ReactReply - RA
RadManYoOriginal PosterMay 2, 2012@Desert Rat: Welp, in all due respect, I thought the nudist life was simply living without clothing. That doesn't necessarily say it's laid-back.
And to answer your question, it demostrates the following:
Allows anyone who's curious about the lifestyle to learn information about it from long-term, passionate nudists of different genders, ages, races, etc without feeling pressured to strip down.
Allows anyone who's curious and more bold/new nudists to engage of one nudism's most favorite past-time; skinnydipping!
Allows anyone to meet up with nudists from all over the world, who can share their experiences and answer any personal questions regarding the lifestyle.
Publicity about the wholesomeness of nudism.
And.... I ran out of reasons, but mini-golf's gotta be as laid-back as you can get, unless you have a caddie driving ya from putt to putt lol.
Please don't assume since the convention takes place in Las Vegas that we're going to sexualize or demonize nudism. I'm looking forward to the information to be shared, the experiences to be had, and the people to meet. Heck, even hope my non-nudie peeps I'm brining along will have an enjoyable time as well ^.^ReactReply - RA

TeamTrue2May 17, 2012Actually Brian Spence is throwing it and would not respond to any of our requests to attend. We thought business would be put aside and it would be for fellow nudists enjoying the same cause. Unfortunately, it is what it is. If you go, enjoy and say hi to other fellow TN'rs for us!

jaybirdsMay 17, 2012If possible, we intend to ask Brian about this as well as the decision to rescind your approved status. His response will play a large part in casting our vote for him in the upcoming AANR election, or not.

He is the one to create this event, one that AANR's officer-ship should have thought to create a long time ago. That's a VERY good reason to vote for him for AANR president. He is younger than many others in office - another reason to vote for him so we have fresh ideas. He's been a regional Trustee (west coast). I'll be voting for him, Dave Landman for VP, and Sharon McLeod for Secy/Treasurer.
He has nothing to say about the AANR logo. That comes from the Executive Director & Electronic communications manager. He could try to help since he is a Western Region's Trustee though.ReactReply - RA
awwww, that's terribly lame. Ya would think in a world of nudism there wouldn't be... competition? I'm sorry however. You could always try wearing a disguise :DReactReply - EV
Evan-hereMay 18, 2012I'm sorry, but I have a little issue with this, I Live in phoenix, AANR west has a meet up here every year, never have I seen TT1 or TT2 and any of those events. If they were there they kept a very low profile. Why the interest now ?Brian makes it there every year. Phoenix is the listed head quarters of true nudists. AANR west has many meet up type events at resorts with in driving distance of Phoenix, why the interest now? Brian, on his site, has meet up a resorts all across the country. He put this one together, not the AANR. I can not say for sure, but I don't think Brian would have an issue with two nudists enjoying the event, however, some one there to promote their site, well different story. If the roles were switched, TT1 would feel the same way. Any bussiness would, and both sites are for bussiness. Since this is a larger site, more members, why do we not have meet up here? If not across the country, at least at sites around the Phoenix area. Well at least people will know what Brian looks like when they see him since he has a photo posted. I think all nudists should take their hat off to Brian for putting in all the effort it took to put this event together. Hopefully it's a great success.
We visit the local nudist locations as well as the locations in CA and have been for the past 10 years. It was never our intent to promote TN, but rather to enjoy a day nude in the sun. As far as interest now, we'd never done a nude outing to Vegas and thought it'd be great to meet other nudists. I'd have no problem meeting Brian Spence either, as a fellow nudist we share the same cause. Unfortunately, multiple emails sent to Brian Spence as to whether we can attend have not ignored. It's a shame but for those going, Enjoy!
It is really reasurring hearing positive feedback from many users saying that losing the logo is not a big deal. Good ideal, maybe TN should start throwing events so we can meet our fellow users? That would be exciting. TN appreciates each and every one of you and it'd be great to meet many of you.

Evan-hereMay 19, 2012I can understand your desire to enjoy a relaxing day, no problem there. Every day should not be about work. How ever, that is different then once in a while showing up at one of the local resorts for a AANR west meet up. Thats once a year. I'm sure if people knew who you were, once in a while you would get asked about TN, and also thoughts as to how it should be run. I do think that would be rare though. I have seen Brian many times at different resorts, and he does seem to get his "alone" time. We don't talk to him everytime, other then to say hello, but at least we know who he is. Having a first name and a picture on here, well it does make it a little more personal. .............As to Vegas being fun, yes it would be. It's really a shame the two sites did not work together from the start. That surely would have made it a much bigger event. Yes, it would be less relaxing for you two, but then again, part of the job of owning a site. Just think of the great people you could have met. I don't think getting a room somewhere in Vegas and getting tickets to the different events would be an issue though. So fun could still be had. An exchange of ideas, or arranging for a time to exchange ideas between Brian and you two could be interesting. Well a polite conversation about the sites would be. I think both sites could learn from the other. .....As to the ones who don't care, well, many don't live in the USA, and of course the ones here for other reasons then chatting and meeting other nudist don't care. They would like you to be farther away. But you have to ask yourself, if they feel it's way to restrictive her in the USA, both wiith AANR and our sites, and say it's so much better where they are, why are they here? For many it's simple, if they were on a nudist web site at home, well fakes and frauds would be found out much quicker. Not saying all outside the USA are fakes and frauds, or that we don't have more then our share, but really, you have to wonder about many. As to meet ups. yes, it would be a awesome idea. Perhaps you two could appoint a small group to help with that. Would not be hard to go in the chat room, or look on the forum, and find people who really care about the site and nudism in general. Total conntrol should always remain with TT1, but having trusted people to toss around ideas, not a bad thought.
