I'm leaving for Balkans for a couple of days and I'd like to know if there are some interesting places to sunbathe naked. I'll visit Ohrid, Montenegro, Neum and the north of Croatia but I'll also have access to other cities so please give me some locations in about 300 km from these cities as well :)

    In Ohrid in MK t

    There is a nude resort (only one in Montenegro) on an island of Ada Bojana on Albanian border, south of Ulcinj/Ulqin. They may take non-package holiday guests if not fully booked and you can also accommodate nearby and go to their beach if not want to live there. Contact them to know more.     I know nude beach next to Sutomore but haven't been there for years (in

    90's it was nice, but very few tourists back then) and recent Czech critics was

    There also is near Herceg Novi this place http://www.full-monte.com/ but it is not at the seaside.





    Jaz beach near Budva used to be OK but I heard it is not nude any more.





    Njivice next to Herceg Novi has a hotel Riviera with its own beach, part

    of which is nude beach. It is comfy and nice, also not far from Full

    Monte campsite if you opt to stay there. Though hotel beach, it at least

    used to be accessible to non-guests, too.

    For Macedonia/Ohrid, traditionally nothing but some remote spots were OK for nude sunbathing. There some other developments, though:

    The links that you gave me say that there were plans to create a nude beach in Ohrid. It's quite old. Did they manage to do it?

    I'm having a reservation in Ohrid for a few days. Is any of these locations away from Ohrid not more than 50 km?

    You said that there were some remote places to sunbathe naked in Ohrid. Are there many people doing  that? How can I find these places so that I'm not disturbing anyone? And best if there are some more naked people because I don't like to sunbathe alone.

    Gradiste is next to lake Ohrid, not far from Ohrid.

    Just tell you a naturist and ask for advice, that's the best way to do it. Not everyone might know but some know and most are OK about you asking if you do it politely.

    Haven't been there for a while, so I wouldn't count on that, haven't been there since the "nude beach project" in Gradiste started. Anyway this thread is about resorts rather than beaches.
