First Visit Announcement, but No Review

I'm amazed at the number of posts by people who say they are going to one resort or another and even create a new topic to announce it to the world and then don't follow up with a trip report.  Of course, it could be that they had a rotten time, but didn't want to slam the resort.  Still, a follow up of some sort would be nice, if only to see if they made it out alive or got mauled by a bare.
