I have noticed a lot of name calling in the forums. Troll seems to be popular. I am hoping that we all can look at some of our own posts and see if that describes our own selves. I see posts that I have made, and see that indeed, I have trolled. I just didn't realize it at the time. I do know that everyone has the right to comment on all threads. And even appreciate that you take the time to do so. But some of the posts are not intended to be helpfull in any way. Just saying.

I am sure there are many definitions for "troll". Anyone who posts only to argue or to try to slander someone else . I hope we all can state our views. We each have our own, you know. Some agree with us, some don't. But, if anyone has something to say, then I think they should say it. Hopefully their intentions will be good and we all reply with good intentions and not "bad mouthing" that poster. So, do you have any thoughts on this?

I am sure that mine isn't the same as yours or yours the same as some others. But, that don't make you wrong at all. Just means "different strokes for different folks" , so to speak. I have been very guilty of maybe saying stuff to strongly. In fact, it's quite possible to start a flame-bait thread, while attempting to be perceived as merely thought provoking. Perhaps this is a good place for me to express a competitive thought. I see on various forums the ideation that tan lines define a "not for real nudists". "A real nudist would not have tan lines." The remarks are often very strongly worde and prejorative.
I feel that instead of putting down those with tan lines, we should feel sorry for them. We should have empathy, sympathy, and understanding.
I live on a small farm near an inland lake and have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sun as I enjoy it most... naked. I have imperceptible, if any, tan lines at all. i am a "happy camper".
But most American live in the metropolice. If they live in an appartment, their neighbors may be only 6 inches away. If they live in the suburbs their neighbors may be only 20 feet away! If they work a 9-5 job, have a residence to maintain, and other mundane duties, they may not bre able to get away to a secluded spot for nude sun exposure. They may well still be "good nudists". They may be nude whenever they can and enjoy it imensely. The opportunity to get away to a resort or nude beach may occur only 2-3 times a year. Tan lines tell me that these folks are at least getting outside some, even if under restrictive conditions.
A nudist with limited opportunities is still a nudist!!!!!!!! We should feel sorry for them and not condem them. Lets welcome them and give them support. We are not all equally fortunate.

And , to me, discussing your ideas is a good thing. You are never gonna see things differently if someone doesn't disagree with you. But, like you said, some use the troll word for anyone who don't agree with their line of thinking....ReactReply
