Sign this petition, let's protect the freedom of the Internet. Big business, big government cannot be trusted to protect our rights. Lobbysists are not on the side of the citizens of this country.

Most of us are for the protection of internet freedoms but are you advocating counterfieting too??

As I understood they are to stop for example :- Google making money from allowing counterfeiting sites to be ranked whether naturaly or paid.

They are to strangle the counterfeiters financialy not to censor them.

Again as I understood the information can still be out there but the search engines would need to be tailored so as not to rank the file exchange sites openly advertising copyrighted material. And clearly not to profit from pay-per-click as they can at present.
