I have to admit, I'm a little miffed. I had a photo deleted, and told to "please follow the guidelines for posting photos." The only problem is, the photo in no way violated any of the guidelines! When I asked why the photo was deleted, I was told it was the sole discretion of the administrator. So I guess the guidelines are not really guidelines at all, it's just whatever the administrator feels like doing. We've all seen plenty of photos allowed to be on here that were clear violations, but if it's an attractive woman I guess the administrators discretion is quite lenient. I still can't believe that a picture of my ass is so offensive, but the administrator doesn't seem to want to explain his discretion.

Well since you already have a photo of your ass in your pics, it obviously isn't that offensive. What kind of ass photo was it?  Were you bent over, spread cheeked?  Was it a close up of your ass with your nuts dangling?  Or was it just a plain old close up of it?  If it were any of those, I would agree with the admins decision.   Then again, it doesn't really matter if you or I or anybody else agree's with their decision or not, as it is THEIR decision.  Yes, it would be utterly fantastic if they explained themselves, but quite honestly it get's real old real quick.  Nine times out of ten the reason they made thier decision is painfully obvious and they don't have the time to explain themselves at every turn.  Besides, we are all adults here and they shouldn't have to.  You asked, they answered and that should be the end of it.

Of course it's frustrating if you get a pic denied that you think is ok, especially when you know some dubious shots have slipped through, but it's not rocket science. At the rate this site is growing, it must be a nightmare trying to keep up with the screening process. Put it down to the price we have to pay for the benefits of someone screening them. If it were me doing it, I wouldn't waste time with explanations, if it meant getting more pic's through.

at least you got a reply about your pics.  I have sent at least 4 messages through the contact us part of this site asking how to change my profile picture and the first one was sent more than 3 wks ago.  I'm still wating 4 a reply.  I have seen other profiles change their profile pic & have ask those members how, but can't seem to get an answer from them either.

The thing is, I just thought that since they had rules posted, those were the rules. But I found out that the rules have nothing to do with it, it's just whether or not the admin likes them. Now that I know, I just have to deal with it.
I can't comment on the administrator's guidelines but I've seen two pictures with erections the last couple of days.   Whatever...
You have to remember that the guy is pretty much doing all the work on his own and that he counts on the membership to self police. When things of that nature are reported they are generally taken care of pretty quickly.

Just reported the first offensive pic today. There is a time and place for everything, but please folks, let's stay true to the reason we all say we're here - we are TRUE NUDISTS. If we allow erection and cock ring pics, this site will soon go the way of most of the other nudist sites.

Serious stuff is dealt with promptly. Yesterday I flagged a guy with two erection pics, plus one under his pants, and so far those are still here. We know TT has a lot on, so I accept that may take a few days, but the guy with a cock ring that I refused entry to my group and flagged weeks ago is still here, admittedly it is a dark pic, but it's still a cock ring on a semi erection, so I just flagged it again. Perhaps we should start naming them here?
Just curious, I'm still finding my way around. Can anyone tell me the process involved in having a photo removed. Is it cause it was flagged? Would I receive a notice if that were the cause? I added a kinda artsy pic and it was in my photos for about a week and then was removed. I can't imagine that it offended anyone, and it was a 160k file. Is that too large?? Thanks.........stan, ( all is tan)
What was the picture of?  Artistic is great as long as it follows the guidelines:   "Photo Guidelines..Please follow them(Can be found on your profile when you go to edit picture) 1. Your profile photo must contain you. Afterwards you may upload any photos you like 2. Please no erection shots, crotch shots or pornographic photos 3. No Spread Eagle, or shots where the butt, genitals or anus are the main focus point. 4. Images containing nudity can not contain anyone under the age of 18. 5. As of 1/7/09 we are no longer approving pictures that contain only genitals,If you choose not to show your face then you may not show your genitals.6. All Photos are approved at the discretion of the administrator. If your picture is denied, upload a different one.
Cuddle, It was a side view of my hips in the morning light. It was cropped from one  in 'my pictures' , color enhanced and with added contrast. The one it was cropped from is still in my photos. It's the top left if you have time to look. I'm not so concerned about the removal of the pic as I am about the procedure for taking it off. The administrator can delete whatever he wants to. It's his site . I just want to follow the rules, and know what they are.. Thanks for the copy of the guidelines. I believe I followed them, and thanks for taking the time to answer.......stan
While personally I don't see anything wrong with the pic, it could conceivably fall under the no head no genitles rule if someone wanted to get right bitchy about it.  Chances are someone saw the pic in your profile, flagged it and TT1 deleted it.  Should he had deleted the other one as well?  Probably, but people need to keep in mind that there is one man and one man only operating this site.  This one man is doing everything on this site, including approving photo's.  With 10,000 + users and many of whom have multiple pics on thier profiles, that's a pretty big ask.  That being the case, things get missed and inconsistancies pop up.  I'm of the opinion that if people have a pic deleted and they truely feel it's undeserving, send TT1 an e-mail and see what happens from there.  Who knows?  This site has it's share of bugs too and it's possible it may have been deleted in error.
Thanks for the reply Swifthawk. Didn't think it would have been removed because of content, but I guess it could be. So you are saying I don't get a notification if I get flagged? I'd like to know if I have offended someone........stan
Hehe...I'd like to be notified too, however, 10,000+ members, one admin, probably doesn't have the time. lol
MY SENTIMENTS EXACTLY! I have seen multiple photos of women with their that are "headleass" and I do  understand  some what for harrasment reasons and a few men are headless. I have talked to another member who had his picture nixed because the photo only showed the lower have of his face while the rest of him was nude. In my OPINION the ADMINISTRATOR has DOUBLE STANDARDS. For males, if the photo doesn't have the full face it will automatically get nixed. If it is a woman, full face not required. I understand life isn't fair, but come on we all claim to be adults on this site. Let us act accordingly and stop behaving like people in junior high (middle schoolers).
Hehe...I don't think it's a case of double standards.  I get the impression that TT1 deletes photo's as they are brought to his attention.  Unfortuantely more people complain about male photo's than female ones.  lol...Probably because the female ones are a bit more pleasing on the eye, but unless people start flagging them, what's he going to do and still keep the costs of running this site down?   I guess the only thing we can really do is post our pics within the guidelines and if we see a pic (regardless of sex) that we don't agree with, flag it.
Another site we belong to, has a series of volunteers, or "Photo Moderators" to help with the sorting of photos.  It isn't perfect, but people can still flag photos that get by them if needs be.  Perhaps we need that here.  It's certainly too much for one person.
I think this would be an excellent idea.  It must take tons of time for one person to view every single photograph just from new member applications, not to mention the Gallery.  Perhaps it would free up time to give some attention to the Locations page!   The Gallery is not a feature that I find to be of all that much importance.  I did try to upload a couple of photos which were in accordance with the guidelines but which were never added so I pretty much lost interest in it.  Just from the random gallery that appears on the home page it doesn’t look like that feature is a large priority either as the same pictures seem to come up again and again, ad nauseam.  So yes, a photo moderator group I think would be a great addition.  That would likely curb many of the complaints too as I think people would see that as a more fair system than one person making the decision on every photo.

Come on Sam, tell us how you really feel. LOL  Seriously, in what way do you mean your comment?  Do you feel this way because you don’t think photos should be posted on the site at all or that you disagree with the posting policies?  I'd just like to understand your perspective.

The answer is simple:  The first pic you post, must be of you, after that you have free reign...  There's no pic of you on your profile...Photo Guidelines..Please follow them1. Your profile photo must contain you. Afterwards you may upload any photos you like   Steve
i have sent that picture but it was rejected i dont get why it was there no explaination of its rejection.
Was the picture of you?  Did it follow the basic guidelines of picture posting? If so, is it possible the file size was too large?  We doubt you'll get an explanation as there is just one person running the entire site who probably doesn't have time to explain why each and every pic that get's rejected does so. Try a different picture and see if that works...   Jen

It's your choice if you do not wish to show your face. You should not expect to show only the parts you want to show. You don't make the rules here. Apparently the person that made the rules decided that you should show all or nothing. If your wife's headless pic slipped past, then that is probably an error rather than an inconsistency.   I did notice that the pics you used as examples belonged to people you have listed as your friends. If those pics do not offend you, what are you complaining about? Those people showed their faces. That is the entire difference between them and you, as I see it.

Could be they just don't want me certified.
Did you send the pics to be certified to the certification link or just post to your profile?  To become certified the two pics, one clothed and one nude need to be sent to the special link.

I was not hard in either pic. nor spread eagle as a lot of the  photos most women have posted here... So why is it just a mans penis seems to be off here unless his face shows with it.. But almost all the women who show between there legs is ok to see all, with out face or even a spread eagle from behind... Where all nudist let the pics go no sex and hard's but no can you guess my age shots either....
Female genitals are inside the body, men's are not.  So, unless they are showing pink, technically they are within the guidelines.  That said though, if you feel a pic is lewd or sexual flag it and go from there.   btw, Even though the pics you described were not errections, your genitals were showing minus your head, which is against the guidelines.  If you want to show your new look, just make sure your head is in there somewhere.  lol..maybe learn yoga if you want a close up? :P
