HoneybeesOriginal PosterOct 24, 2010
It is such a joy to be a nudist, and nudist only, if it is not too cold
.
, but so many "people" are spoiling it, because they don't care about what ever, some people should start to learn to read or find another page where they can go for their own interest.
We get every day, still, more request from people who don't care about any profile, it is easy just to push a button, but for what, to see some naked bodies, there a a lot of them on other places.
Sorry if i sound strange or angry, but still as a man, we can behave, and not treat other people, or nudist at all, like they belong to us just because they have naked pic. on the net.
Take care

AceNOregonGirlOct 24, 2010Well there are lots of really nice single men out there and all of the good ones would ask politely to be your friend first.
I agree that it is bothersome when people don't respect your wishes and continue to harass you with endless friend requests. It is unfortunate that it cannot be stopped. The best thing you can do is not accept or deny the requests so that they cannot send another. But please keep an open mind yourself and understand that not all single men are "out to get you". Anyone who establishes themselves as friendly deserves a chance!

Perhaps you would prefer requests from single women then.
Why
not make your preferences obvious by saying who you want friends
requests from on your profile, and who you don't want them from. So much
easier.ReactReply - HO
HoneybeesOriginal PosterOct 24, 2010Hi, why dont you try to read the whole profile, that is just what i am taking about, not reading, and day for day, Sorry, but everybody ( we ) have the right to select the friends they want, and i just mean that other members have to respect this

blueiron35Oct 24, 2010Jackie, if only everyone here had the level head and open heart that you do.
As for those of you who do not like all the friend requests: as it has been stated before, when you receive a request from someone you have no interest in befriending then simply deny them or leave their request in your box. No big discussions, no arguments, just go on about your day. Simple.ReactReply - MEMemberOct 25, 2010
Very well said, Mark
And if you have offended anyone, they really ought not to be on this site.ReactReply - SY
SydneyBeachBumNov 7, 2010I'm listed as a single man but I'm part of a couple. My partner is happy to go nude on the beach and to resorts but she was apprehensive about joining as a couple. We joined another site and attracted the wrong type of peoplae.

TerryNov 17, 2010This is a problem with most naturst sites, I have been branded as everything from perv to dirty old man jsut because I enjoy being a naturist and getting my clothes off, and the other thing I have to put up with is the remarks made about being a married male but single when it becomes naturist, I am one of those many who have a interest in naturism but alone when the partner does not have an interest at all but is ok with the other being a naturist as long as they don't include thier partner in with them. so I for one will be a male asking to be friends ot be adde to a friends list.

SteveNov 17, 2010My profile text says not to send a friend request without a message exchange; people (well, men) do it anyway. Am I being perv'ed on as a 60-yr-old male with no friends-only photos? Kinda doubt it. I think a lot of it just that men in general, and probably men who spend a lot of time at home on the computer even moreso, just aren't that verbal. The photos have more meaning to them than the text, which they just gloss over. Clicking "friend" is an easier, safer, overture for them than coming up with a message. Yea, it's lame - but notnecessarilyagressive or exploitative.ReactReply - WE

But in an environment where the general hang-ups of society (what hairstyle, clothes, trainers you have) are un important. You are suddenly ostracised for a reason that in the other world would not matter. Sad really - but without eradicating all the pervs there is not much we can do about it. All I can say is that looking at the profiles it is only the minority of folks who discriminate in this way. I don't know if it was pulled but someone posted a thread saying that he was thinking of putting in his profile "no single women thanks" or some such wording. I am sure it was meant as a humourours comment but he got slammed.ReactReply - WE

BillNov 18, 2010i understand your frustration but its like any area in life theres good guys and theres bad guys at the nude beach theres always the 'pervs' that come along and in a nudist chat room there will always be the 'pervs' that come along i dont think you will ever get away from them as a true nudist so best to learn to live with them dont let them freak you out you have the right to say no to friend requests so enjoy being a nudist and dont let the 'pervs' ruin it for you is my advice

OllyDec 22, 2010It's simple statistics. 88% of TN members are "Male" wheras only 7% are "Femail" and 5% are couples. So, as there are seven "males" for every other member there are bound to be more requests for them. Just because the are shown as "Male doue not mean they are single men. Many are married. I've even noticed some whos wives are also TN - but I guess many wives may not be nudists or may not want to join the site.

No problem, I'm not interested in being your friend anyway. You certainly have the right to express your desires for friends; mine are friendly, open- minded people who do not pre-judge.

Cheri Donna DawsonDec 25, 2010
thanks am just a old man that likes to chat with ladys
Firstly, you really need to allow "ladies" (note the correct spelling) to view your profile to see if they would like to be friends with you. Those whose profile isn't avaiable, I wouldn't allow to be friends here.ReactReply - GR

AMar 28, 2011This thread can be again summed up to a code of conduct which most people who TrueNudists should follow:
1. Write enough information of yourself in your profile.
2. Keep your profile open to everyone (text part and at least SOME pics, textile if you wish so)
3. Get certified
4. Write an occasional contribution to Forum, this in order to establish your broader views/opinions to various issues (a search possibility for individual profile's forum contributions would be a great additional feature on the site).
5. If you send a friends'hip request to someone, do accompany a message WHY you should be friends (common interests, geographical proximity, same haircut, shoesize or whatever) as well as in which way you would like to communicate (in TN chat, through Messages in TN or through some outside facility like E-mail, Yahoo/MSN/AOL Messenger, Skype, telephone, smoke signals or morse code).
6. DO NOT ASSUME that if you think someone would be cool to have as a friend, the other person(s) have same perception unless you tell them your view. Even then, as people are different, do respect their choice and do not push them to ask reasons for declining to communicate with you further.
If following above mentioned steps, a single male (and any other true nudist) very much increases positive responses and constructive communication in general on this site.

NoneJun 23, 2011We will friend anyone who has an interesting profile, we have some common interests with or we live close enough to hang out sometime. Single or married men that have in their profile that they are interested in dating or serious relationship? You are probably not going to be friended, I and this Tom are not going to date you and my wife is not going to date you so why would we want to be friends? Maybe my reasoning isn't fair but we have been in the nudists lifestyle a very very long time. Lets just say we learned the hardway. The good old school of hard knocks.
