Jan 25, 2014I'm dying to get some good naked hiking done sometime this summer. I found one camp ground somewhat near by where I can get that done but I like the idea of finding some new places. I'm a bit of a PITA about this, but it needs to be completely legal (not technically legal) so I'd be looking for a clothing optional camp ground. I'm also not big on camping so I'm thinking some place where I can rent a cabin for the weekend and hike around the grounds. Perhaps they would also have some pools or something like that, but the big thing I'm looking for is hiking around, so a place with just a mile or two of trails. Any ideas?

JohnJan 26, 2014Valley View Hot Springs Colorado (Orient Land Trust athttp://olt.org). Completely legal, miles and miles of back country hiking. It is high altitude and rough terrain for the most part. One relatively easy hike to get you started would be to the bat cave (with or without the daily tour group). Take clothing with you on any hike in this area, as the weather can change dramatically in short time.

orbarebearJan 26, 2014The Willamettans near Eugene Oregon has some trails and are allowed the use of some neighboring forest land. They have cabins and a year round pool.

If it is both of us I think it would be less likely to get arrested. One guy told me that if a officer ever walked up on him while hiking naked he would start swatting like he just got stung...and then explain to the officer that a bee flew up his shorts and he had to take them off.ReactReply

Sunny Rest & Avalon are both fairly close to you. I've never been to either, but I will be in the not-to-distant future.
