  I recently bought an MX-5 (Miata) but winter and lockdowns have restricted opportunities. Perhaps a nice summer, if we have one, opportunities shall come. Can't see myself trying it in daylight without the security of a roof. Even with windows down, the roof is a significant shield in traffic and urban areas.

They are so low that anyone passing by would see everything with the roof open!

  Regardless of how you're dressed, some vehicles are exhibitionist in themselves. A doorless and topless Wrangler may well top that list (excluding motorcycles), with regular convertibles taking the runner-up position.

  Since getting the MX-5 (Miata), my wife and I have been keen to drive it roof-down, even in a Melbourne winter. My wife did a freeway journey like that at under 10C/50F; I generally wait for it to be a bit warmer. Sunshine helps on the cooler days. I am conscious of standing out by driving roof-down in a world of sedans, SUVs and trucks, but just remind myself to simply enjoy it. That feeling kind-of parallels being nude in a C/O environment when others remain dressed, or even wearing the edgiest suit on a textile beach.

  Nude driving in a sedan, even with the windows down has a degree of security with judicious positioning of the car in traffic and urban areas, which would disappear with the convertible. I'll see what opportunities arise with the arrival of hot summer evenings.

  I love driving nude. I had the windows tinted in my truck so that I could drive nude even in town. I can get in my truck in my garage, drive to a drive thru window, order and get my food and drive home completely naked without anyone seeing my private parts. I am shirtless but they can't see down into the seat.

  I have been to the bank drive up, fast food and even one of the local liquor sores has a drive up window.

  Tinted window are the way to go.

  My 97 Wrangler has the low cut doors which puts the edge about level with the top of my legs. These doors don't come off easily. Driving naked is very exposed even with these doors on. I've driven throughout Nevada and Mtn roads in the Sierra Nevada and Cascades. It is great!

  Driving home from blacks beach now. Nude of course. Stop at Jack's for a shake. Only cover for the drive thru. Then comfort the rest of the way home.

Beside, I only wear a shirt at home in warm weather for special company, not delivery people, tradesmen, or frequent visitors and I enjoy the feeling of the wind on my chest!

  Our friends laughed at me for being so bold and so prepared and asked my wife what she thought about it and she responded that I do it all the time. She also said, "if he's not driving naked, there's something wrong!" ;DDD

  Not as bold as driving, especially with others in the car, but if my wife sees me wearing anything when we are home alone, she asks me why I am not nude!

  Most of the time I drive naked after visiting a nude beach. What I also like is driving throuh a crowed street and teasing with my birthday suit. Haha.

  Yes. I always have a pair of shorts and a tee shirt under my drivers seat just in case. You just never know. Just like I keep a pair of shorts near my front door.

  The world has not caught up to us and our comfort level of nudity.

  I tried once to drive naked from Colorado and Illinois naked with a rental : Ford Expedition.

  I was hard to do it during daylight. Never done it. But very nice. Lot of trucks along the road, so I had to be careful. Most of the time I kept my shirt.

  But I drove also during evening after sunset. We easier. Though, reaching toll booth, you have to cover.

  Was fun experience.

  I tried again in my own car, being bottom naked only.
  And it was daylight.

  Lot of fun. Wish I was dare enough to do it shirtless too, but it is attracting looks. Always afraid of who sees you.

Always afraid of who sees you.[/quote] I rarely wear a shirt when I drive in warm weather ( but I do wear shorts). I don't think the lack of a shirt draws much attention.

I usually drive shirtless in warm weather and have been stopped at least twice for minor driving infractions when doing so, Nothing was said about my lack of a shirt. In fact the last time it happened, the policeman charged me with a much less significant infraction than he could have. I was using a hand held cell phone at the time, which I rarely do when driving, but was only charged with being in the passing lane without passing anyone.
