Don't know why but gardening in the nude seems almost completely natural - like why would anybody want to do gardening clothed.
That connection with the earth, the smell of fresh fruit and vegies and, in summer, watering are seemingly all facets that make the experience what it is when nude.

noodengr2May 28, 2021I spent most of today nude or nearly so in my yard. Mowed , raked , mulched and transplanted ferns. The connection with the dirt is very therapeutic. But this 60yr old body sure was glad there was a hit tub waiting.

Tom DMay 30, 2021
I love working nude, recently got to help an old couple box up stuff in their very hot garage after a little yard work. I asked them if I could be nude and they said yes. I put all my clothes in my car and when the garage was done we all went in the house for some more closet boxing I remained nude. When I came back the next day I stripped at my car and we continued. A friend of hers stopped by, she told her I liked to be nude. She blushed when she saw me. We all chatted, my nudity was a first for all three of them. It was nice. They asked me to come back for some yard work. The visitor is hoping I'll stop by her place and do a few things for her.
Next time if you are daring enough you can leave your clothes at home!ReactReply - RT
Reuben TitusJun 1, 2021Garden work is best done nude, it was the original way it was supposed to be in Eden. Just works best that way for everything. I am working on making gardening and orcharding my main full time work.

JohnJun 3, 2021"Working from Home" last summer RUINED me (in a good way!). We live in the Mississippi Delta area where it gets HOT and HUMID in the afternooon (sometimes first thing in the morning!). My lovely wife would come home from her work and would be amused to find me further and further out in the back yard working in nothing but a hat, gloves, and shoes. But after a few smiles and "you're more daring than I am..." replies, she agreed that there are just some days that are TOO HOT for clothes! She's joined me from time to time, usually just topless, but she's begun to like nude / topless gardening with me more and more.

HomeblownJun 18, 2021Had several oppertunities lately to be out watering the garden in the nude because none of my neighbors have been home during the day. I have enjoyed being out in the sunshine and feeling the sun on my skin. I live in Florida and according to what i've read on the internet I can be naked in my yard with out fear of the law as long as I'm not sporting an erection. Now wether that is true or not I don't know. How much of what you read on the internet is true. Anyone in Florida had any experience with this issue or know the truth of it.

divesterJun 19, 2021OK,so I'm going to be controversial. GARDENING IN THE NUDE IS HORRIBLE!!!
First you have to get out the mower and run around the garden with it. Then you have to trim those trees and bushes and then prod around in the soil to keep the weeds at bay. Then you have to spray everything with water which always seems to take ages.
So, let me clarify my answer -
Gardening in the nude = horrible.
Gardening = horrible.
Being naked in the garden for bbq's, drinks, listening to music, reading, meals, relaxation and the odd snooze = amazingly good!Ok, so maybe I just hate gardening.

With our recent heat waves, I have done my yard work in minimal cover. I most definitely would have preferred to be nude, but have open yards at both of our places. I agree that it is a chore that I could do without, but often use that time on the mower or weeding the flower beds for in depth contemplation and problem solving. Contrary to what my wife thinks, men can do more than one thing at a time.

PaulJun 19, 2021
Ok, so maybe I just hate gardening.
I don't really care for gardening. I like the effect, but I don't enjoy the process. However, doing in nude is better than doing it with clothing on. Although there are a few (very few) situations in which clothing is beneficial and maybe even preferred, for everything else nudity is best. If I have to do something disagreeable, being able to do it nude makes it a little less disagreeable.ReactReply - NUnudeyooperJun 19, 2021
If I have to do something disagreeable, being able to do it nude makes it a little less disagreeable.
Does that include colonoscopies?ReactReply

AustinJohnJun 19, 2021I love mowing the yard nude - sadly my yard is not enclosed but did at some others (not mine). Seeking another Austin local nudist to maybe let me do their yard - then maybe do some trimming. AustinJohn

PaulJun 20, 2021
Does that include colonoscopies?
I've had three colonoscopies. They are a minor inconvenience. Just say, "No," to being sedated. When it's over, you get dressed and go on about your day. If you go to the dentist regularly and you've had any sort of work done on your teeth, you experienced much worse at the dentist than a colonoscopy could possibly be.ReactReply - PA
PaulJun 20, 2021
Probably would be easier to do the prep nude. Wouldn't have to keep taking your pants off and on.
I'm nude at home anyway. So there's no need to specifically get nude for colonoscopy prep. Besides, I just park it on the toilet until it's done.ReactReply - TD

RickJun 23, 2021I would not think of operating a lawn mower or weedeater in the nude, I've been hit by flying debris too often! I did build a raised bed and plant a nine rose, rose garden in this new (to me) house earlier this month. Because of the humidity, it took several days to assemble the landscape logs. I did have to cut them with the circular saw - and I did that part clothed "just in case." Now its a matter of tending to the rose garden as these little keepsakes take hold and reward us with their beauty.

JohnJun 24, 2021
I would not think of operating a lawn mower or weedeater in the nude, I've been hit by flying debris too often!
If the rotating blade of a lawn mower flings something at you, it's unlikely your clothing is going to stop it unless you're wearing heavy leather or kevlar. Being nude may actually be better, as there will be no risk of small bits of clothing/thread being encapsulated in the wound causing infection. As I have a riding mower, I am above the blades and have no worries about being hit by flying debris. John aka cobeachbumReactReply - PA
