pipermac5Nov 30, 2012Several years ago I painted the inside of a house that we had bought as a foreclosure. I started painting in the master bathroom, and after a bucket of paint decided to take a dive off the top of the toilet tank, splattering paint everywhere, I decided to paint the rest of the house nude. The wife didn't really care for the idea, but I got the job done without ruining any more clothes. A few months later, she dumped me, so I didn't get to live in the house I had painted for very long. Painting nude is eminently practical.ReactReply - T=

sdsuncpl12Dec 25, 2012
Yes, inside and outside. Somehow painting in the nude makes the job less tedious and boring. Almost like an adventure rather than a chore. Not to mention, clean up is a breeze.

A few of other things I/we like to do nude is gardening, hanging clothes outside, mowing lawn, etc.

Weather permitting, I change the oil on my vehicles without worry of soiling clothes. I have done several woodworking projects, remodeling projects and even a small welding project (careful to not get to many sparks and/or welding burn).

ManOfWicklowDec 30, 2012Nude IS the only way to paint.ReactReply - MAmako09Feb 1, 2013When we bought our current house it was a foreclosure so we had no window coverings or light fixtures, but since it was a good price it was worth the money to buy it "as is" so we purchased all the window covering and light fixtures while we were in escrow, anticipating our move in. So on getting the keys we decided to paint first, hang light fixtures then put up window covering. But since it was empty we decided to coat the garage floor first thing and let it dry while painting the house. since we could not park in the garage our cars were outside and since we didn't want to mess up our clothes they were in the garage. and just as luck would have it our new neighbors were anticipating meeting the "new neighbors" and after seeing our car in the driveway decided to come introduce themselves. Needless to say it was an AWKWARD introduction, but it made it a much smoother transition for our nudist sunbathing when they saw us using the pool!(function () {

Tom === Thomas S. TierneyFeb 2, 2013Has anyone ever painted a room while nude?
OK, we have decided the answer is,YES!ReactReply - SUsunnmaxxFeb 5, 2013Many times. Once while painting the master bedroom of a newly bought house. I had appearently left the garage door open and the neighbors dog wondered in and decided to meet the new neighbor. I heard something and turned around to meet Max, a 225 pound largest dog ever seen, white mountain panting with very wet tonge. I almost jumped out the window. After my heart settled down, I put some shorts on and walked him the 1/8 mi to the neighbors.
A week later I was cleaning out brushes out back when the wife came home with a friend. I can still remember them laughing.ReactReply - SOSomeSunFunFeb 20, 2013
Painting in the nude makes for easy cleanup.
I would not put up insulation nude. I wear long sleeves and use the trick of applying baby powder on all exposed skin. Makes it so the glass fibers don't itch.
You're welcome to visit and stay clothed until finished, then shower off and soak in hot tub. :)ReactReply - BA

atldavisMar 31, 2013No, but I have thought about it. I am doing some house renovation, and will be painting my living room ceiling soon. It has big windows to the street, though, so I will have to check sight lines before I decide if it would be appropriate.

Like lots of others on here I find it the best way to paint. Skin cleans so much easier than clothes do, so a quick shower is all it takes. I've painted a few room in our house over the last few weeks and done each one in the nude.

AskJan 19, 2015I always paint nude unless I need to have front window open for painting around the sills etc... For ventilation I keep the backyard windows open and the doors open. So I don't get any clothes covered with paint, but i have gotten paint all over me!

JohnJan 19, 2015Had to paint the master bedroom this summer. Tons of woodwork as one wall to all bookshelves. Took a week. All nude.
