Would most of us be comfortable walking into a grocery store nude if 99.9 percent of the folks around us were clothed. It would definately need to be warm outside.

I would this afternoon, but then I have a fanny pack to throw over a shoulder.
Thanks
JerryReactReply - YRyrrallDec 3, 2008If it were legal I would be nude anywhere, weather permitting. Snowy day today so I will stay idoors and warm!
ReactReply - MEMemberDec 4, 2008Think I would feel a little better if more people were nude than 99%.

valley_nudiesDec 4, 2008as long as any textile parents shopping at the same place with thier children new it could happen and didn't care. and i can even just put my wallet in the wifes purse.

DavidDec 4, 2008I wouldn't have a problem with it at all. I joke around with my co-workers all the time saying "If it weren't against the law, I'd never have clothes on..."

JamnatDec 4, 2008If nudity in public places was an accepted norm in the town and only practiced by a few, I would go shopping at the local grocery store nude. I would not want to start or help start an incident like the occurences in Brattleboro, Vt. I think I might test the waters by driving around the town nude and getting some gas nude. Since we have a lake in the town, I would definately go to the beach nude and take it from there. Although not an exhibitionist, I would love to mow the front lawn nude. It sure would be nice if nudity and body acceptance was more accepted in general.

lol...If 99.9% of the people were dressed, no I wouldn't go parading around in the buff. It would feel like I was on display or something. lol

gabareOriginal PosterDec 5, 2008I like the idea of testing the water, driving nude (most of us probably have done this) stopping and pumping gas or going to the bank, but it would probably be a little or a lot uncomfortable nude and everyone else probably not but how else are we to break the barrier. If they opened a town where it was legal we all would flock to it wouldn't we, so I believe within a week the 99.0 percent would probably drop to 87.0 percent, feel better now !

PhilfreeeukDec 5, 2008If I were the only one, No. .........If there were a few of us, maybe. ........If there were a lot of us Yes, BUT as I believe that we should respect other points of view (even if they are a bunch of boring old self conscious textile farts) I'd have to be sure that we were not offending anyone, and as that's not likely to be the case, the answer is probably still No! .......unless it was a grocery store in a c/o resort :)
Hi dancingnakeddj welcome to the site :)ReactReply - NW
nwslugDec 5, 2008The next time I needed to go grocery shopping! Of course, I would expect to find others nude there - if not, I would not as I try to not offend. Confrontational nudity does not advance our cause. But I would be comfortable shopping anywhere nude - or going anywhere nude if it is acceptable.

Nude GuyDec 7, 2008If it were legal to go nude anywhere, I probably would sometimes. If it were legal and acceptable to the general public then I would always be nude. Even if it was legal, I still would accept the general concensus of the community where I was. I think in some european countries it is legal and acceptable to be nude most places, and I definitely would be. But like I said, community standards would have to be a guide.
ReactReply - MEMemberDec 8, 2008
yes , why not going naked is natural thing for me i will do immediately even if all were clothed

HubnudeDec 8, 2008I would definitely get there as soon as I possibly could. In fact, I would go anywhere nude if I could.

RyanDec 9, 2008Even in areas where nudity is legal, there's still a societal stigma toward it. I don't think I could go shopping nude in my area even if it were legalized. But, I have to admit it would make those late-night nacho runs to the 7-11 a lot more convenient.

Nudewoody, I don't EVEN want to talk to you. I'm massively jealous!!!!
I think the photo just drives the rest of us nuts. I give! Uncle! Where do I have to move now?!?!?!?!

Mary ClareDec 16, 2008I would go grocery shopping nude right away. And I have as I have been to Cap D'Agde in France where it IS legal to go grocery shopping, to the bank, to the post office, etc all in the nude. Well it would take me a while to get over my shy side, but after that and the end of winter I'd be out and enjoying it. Though I'd make sure there wasn't an admendment to prohibit hairy fat guys from partisipating. lol

showus2Dec 21, 2008We are nude 24/7 now except when we have to leave home to shop etc. If it were legal we would be naked all the time and would love it!

Timo2009Dec 22, 2008I've been to the grocery nude, as well as dinner in restaurants and the hardware store. Of course, this was all at Euronat, and almost everyone else was nude, too. If it were legal, I'd go in a flash! Please pardon the joke.
