  I have an intro session this monday that will allow me to pose for a group of artist on a semi regular basis. I had an extended conversation
  with the cooridinator if the program and I am excited about the possibilities

  I just did a recent gig as a figure model for an artist I met on Craigslist. He was appreciative that I gave him my time and form and I was appreciative that I could be nude in front of him. I'll be modeling for him a lot I think.

  hello, what is the purpose of this forum?
  just indicate that we are a model or that we would like to be?
  I am a model for drawing lessons, I started when I was a student to have a small income
  I still do it now when a teacher lacks a role model
  but here is my question from the beginning since at first sight this forum does not seem to seek to connect painters and models?
  is that it or am I wrong?

  I first nude modeled in my early 20s. First class was myself and a girl modeling. Been doing it off and on ever since. I would love to do it more frequently these days.

  just did my 8th session with the group. this time only 3 guys. They let me tell travel stories while i posed which made the time go faster.

  If you are an Art teacher and the curriculum requires nude drawing, you're probably at times looking for someone to use as a model. Especially in today's climate when many men won't even get nude in the local gym's shower. I suspect our group data is probably skewed but it is what is being offered. And if the Art teacher needs a body, I think having an abundance of 'old guys' is probably ok.

  I know that, and I know why almost every time this subject comes up its always the same people who say they do it. I just wondered why you never see naked old men paintings if thats all thats available to artists.
