Last Friday, I was assembling some new bar stools (there's a pic in my profile) and I realized that I really really detest working on things around the house, unless I'm doing it naked.  I'm convinced it's the only way I'm going to get anything done around here..

Anyone else think that way, too? (Just stay out of the attic.. trust me!)
I found recently that painting in the nude is a good idea. I don't know about you but whenever I'm painting a room I seem to end up with more paint on me than on the walls. This used to mean having clothes for painting but if you're painting is going to take a few consecutive days you either have to have more than 1 set, or wash and dry them really quickly. I found that paint actually washes off skin really easily in the shower so painting in the nude saves time and effort on the washing front.
I Always take down the curtains when I paint, and don't live in an area where I can show myself to the neighbors while I'm nude. It would make sense to mask over the windows and then - hell I think I'll try it! Good idea.

I enjoy working in the nude as well. Sweeping vacuuming, mopping etc.
I have even worked in the attic nude, but only because I do not have fiberglass insulation, and because it was 102 degrees out but I needed to fix some wires. I sweat a lot but brought a fan so the evaporative cooling effect was much greater.

    Stay naked!
Not sure if you have WD40 on that side of the Pond, but if you miss getting some paint off of you in the shower, that works great.  Any lubricating spray would probably work as well.   If you'd like to help paint our 1328 sq. ft. 1-story home, you're welcome to come on out.  We are totally private.  You and your wife are welcome as is anyone who would like to help.  I'll prepare food for anyone who does come out out.    We do have a pool (33 ft. x 18 ft), 8x8 hot tub among other things here.  We put together our 6-ft. picnic table au natural as well. The only time clothes are put on is when we have to go into town for any thing.

I am about to finish a kitchen remodel, done mostly nude. I rebuilt from bare studs, including plumbing, wiring, insulation, drywall, hardwood floor, and custom cabinets. I only got dressed when I had help that wouldn't understand. And yes I did both insulation and soldering copper nude.

Nude is the only way to work and it saves a lot of expense with washing clothes.

Do remember to wear safety footwear and goggles where necessary. Safetymustalways take priority over comfort or fashion.

We recently built a deck by the pool this way.  We only worked out there 3 hours a day due to our endurance and the heat/weather.

Everything done around the house is done nude.  Her and I do it all.  We have done 2 complete bathroom gut jobs.  Remodeled our basement.  Moved walls.  And much more.  Yard work is done nude as well.

I recently built a new 8' tall cabinet in my master bathroom, mostly nude. It had to be built in place, as the completed size would have prevented being able to get it through the doorways. I had to do all the major cuts outside(clothed), then bring them in for assembly in place. This has greatly improved the storage capacity in the bathroom in an otherwise unused corner space.

My latest project is the stripping, sanding, reassembly, and painting of an antique rocking chair. Most of it was done while nude, even the stripping. The safe strippers available now do not burn bare skin so any that gets on you comes off in the shower. Sanding dust does not contaminate clothing if you are not wearing any, and paint overspray falls into the same category.
Last summer and fall I took up the near 100 year old maple flooring in a house to be razed, ran it through my drum sander, and reinstalled it in my bedroom. When possible, it was done while nude. It is much cooler working that way.

At my prior house...I built a set of wall cabinets for the laundry. They were 8 ft long and and 8 ft high for half the wall. Putting it up was a real pain. I built them on the porch out of old shelving I had gathered. This is about 1/3rd complete.

It was mainly for bathroom supplies/necessities, towels, soap, toilet paper, and stuff like that..

The most recent project was putting together an arbor for the backyard. I was able to get all the panels together sans clothing, but had to put on shorts while up on a ladder, otherwise I would have been seen above the fence.

The fact that I can be nude all the time at home makes every chore better because I am nude. Sometimes when I cook, I do put on an apron just to prevent burns. At my previous FL home, I was also able to do many outside tasks nude. I built a backyard deck and arbor wearing shoes and a tool belt. I loved the feeling of freedom. I could also work in my garage workshop nude. Obviously, one needs to be very careful with some power tools but common sense is good at any time.
I find that I really dislike having to put on clothes for any task. There is a feeling of being connected to nature every time I am outside nude.

Prefer doing most household chores including improvement clothes free. More productive I think and easy to clean up after.
I do all chores inside and outdoors in the back yard nude. I have to replace some pickets on the fence shared with the house behind ours....something I have been putting off for a while. I plan on completing this task in the buff. This should be interesting.....
Is it in view of the house behind you? If so, are your neighbors OK with seeing you nude?

I've done a lot of home improvement projects around the house nude. From replacing rotten deck boards to painting to building cabinets. Later today I have some drywall mudding to do and plan to do it in the nude as well.
