how far out your door do you go nude, is it the front or backyard, how big is the yard do you have privacy screening , do you have a pool, hot tub, badmitton, have you been seen by your neighbors. what improvements have you made.

HubnudeJun 20, 2009I go nude in my backyard almost every day. My house is such that I can go outside nude in about half of the yard without worrying whether anyone can see me. One day, I decided to venture out a bit further where a neighbor could see me. And, yes, it happened. The single mom next door just happened to be outside at the same time and saw me. Although at first she couldn't really tell that I was nude. She yelled a greeting at me and I immediately apologized for being nude where she could see me. She said it was no problem. She had heard that I was a nudist and was OK with that. I then went to the fence separating us, still totally naked, and we chatted for awhile. She said it didn't bother her to see me naked and that as far as she was concerned I could be naked out in my backyard whenever I wanted. It wasn't long after that that I was weed-eating along the fence and looked over and saw her sunning nude in her backyard. I told her welcome to the club. She smiled and said that I always looked so comfortable being nude that she decided to give it a try and loved it. Since then we often spend weekend afternoons nude together.

me and my husband have a pool in our back yard and after dark we love to get in it, the feeling of the coolwater with out wearing clothes, i also love to go in our back yard in the nude, we also have a lake that isnt far from our house that me and my husband love to skinny dip in barbReactReply - CO
Curt, or CowboyJul 9, 2009My "back yard" is about 10 feet by 30 feet or so, completely private, but under some large pines which like to rain sap and bugs.
Out front, is visible to the whole neighborhood. The rest of the acre is visible to most of the neighborhood, so at-home opportunities are quite limited. After dark isn't much of a problem for the front deck, but much beyond could be a problem. I've walked the neighborhood ( clothed ) with a careful eye to see just exactly what is, and what is not visible from just about every angle, both day and night, so I know, including through which windows with what lights on and off.
Here in Ohio, the law is such that if one knows, or should have known, that an "affront" is possible, it's indecent exposure, so I have to make sure that if caught, it's defensible. Most people don't care, or find it amusing, but. there's a chance.....I was interviewing a potential house-mate a while ago, and did ask her if she'd have a problem with me being a nudist. Got about 5 minutes of that embarassed self-concious laughter one sometimes gets, then she said no. I told the guy across the street about the question, and her answer, and got the same reaction, plus the comment that I got more guts than he does ! Since then, with those two anyway ( no housemate, but she did become a friend ) it's no big deal. Just that eccentric guy.....
The woman has subsequently told me that I'm the very first person she's known in her 48 years that does not equate nudity with sex ! She's told me she thinks highly of me for that, but is not going to do it herself. I have invited her to attend a resort with me, if she likes, but that hasn't happened yet, and might never happen, but people have surprised me in the past.

DavidJul 11, 2009You make a very good point, wldstng. Everyone needs to know what their local laws say. For instance... in Florida, there's no actual state statute against pure nudity. There has to be some form of lewdness or sexual activity along with the nudity, before a person can be arrested. That said, most local jurisdictions (most counties, and even some cities) have strict laws against public display of the genitals, whether lewd or not. They always write in exceptions so exotic dancers are safe in their places of employ, but still...

EgalitarianEthosJul 12, 2009My wife and I have a lot of privacy on our deck and don't hesitate to use it nude. We both venture off the deck occasionally but know we could be seen if we move too far from the deck.
I would really enjoy working nude in my back yard without worries, but I'll need some additional screening before I can do that everywhere. Some sections have sufficient screening already, and a couple weeks ago I planted some rose bushes wearing only work boots, gloves and a baseball cap.

So now I can go anywhere in my garden. For those less fortunate, all you need is a hammer, some nails, a length of washing line or even string, a few sheets, pegs and a bit of imagination. I'm sure there are very few who cannot at least make a small area private enough to get an all over tan.

RoosterockAug 7, 2009I have a chain link fence and neighbors beside and behind me plus a busy hyway beside me. I love to walk around outside nude, but I wait until it is dusk. I then go out and sit in a chair until it gets a little darker and then walk around. I can see cars go by but since it is dark they are unable to notice me. I have also walk two houses down on my street late at night. I wish I could do it in the daytime.

RMitchAug 10, 2009I envy all of you who can go outside nude. I cannot even go nude in my own house without first hanging sheets up over all the windows. My house is completely surrounded with houses...there is not one spot I can go outside without being seen.

I live on a cul de sac and have a chain link fence in the back yard facing a busy highway. I have at sunset gone out into the backyard an sat in a chair nude watching the traffic. No one can tell if I am completely nude or not. I have also walked all over the backyard and front yard nude after the sun goes down. Also walked to the next cul de sac two houses down around two in the morning. It felt great and I wish I could do it in the daytime.

TerryOct 15, 2009Living in Orange County, Cal-a-for-nee means its a bit crowded. Many people who prostitute their property for money often build a small "mother in law" house in back of their main rental or own house, or even build a new garage with an apartment above. We have about 8 feet out the back door till we hit the garage that's attached to the small house in back, so no back yard at all. Out front its all houses up and down the street. However, we rent an old house, so there's a covered front porch where I can step out at 5am to fetch the paper with my robe open in case someone walks by and surprises me. We also have an old upholstered chair out front I can sit in for a while essentially nude till it gets too light. Once I sat there and drfited off. When I woke up it was fairly light and I scampered inside...LOL. Fortunately, there are hedges in front of much of the porch. We do belong to a club and besides our Wednesday trips we get to camp for about four weeks during the summer.

I had intersting surprise yesterday. I was returning from my three mile nude hike and when I was almost home I I saw that the rancher's wife was working on fence near where I stepped out of the woods. gator1Oct 21, 2009I'm so fortunate to have a great, private back yard here in town. After the rain stopped today, noonish, I took both my dogs out to "do their business" and thoroughly enjoyed my nude walk around the yard, checking my vegetable plants and a couple of new bushes I'd planted recently. The 70 degree weather, and the wet grass squishing under my feet felt absolutely wonderful! Life is good!
