ChristopherSep 7, 2013
Has anyone ever done this before? I've always thought it would be a lot of fun to go snow skiing naked but there are no resorts I'm aware of in the entire United States that would allow such a thing :)

FlokieSep 7, 2013I suppose it depends on what kind of skiing you are talking about. If it's cross country or tele-mark then I'm sure any resort with trails would welcome you. They might think you're nuts ... but they'd welcome you.
:-)ReactReply - SUsunnmaxxSep 12, 2013Skied just at dusk at a lake in MO many years ago. Current body not made for sking!!! But great memoryReactReply

zuerigayFeb 19, 2014I have been snowboarding two days long just in my speedos. This was two years ago in March during our winter holidays in Arosa, Switzerland. It was very late season, blue sky, no winds at all. We were already shirtless for lunch at the restaurant and after a drink at the bar, I decided to leave all clothes there and go snowboarding just in my underwear for the rest of the day. It was a super great feeling. You must do that once! But take an easy ride and avoid to fall on icy spots.
All the tourists already stared at me as I was an alien. Full nudity couldn't make much a difference in reaction. I wanted to try it once completly naked but my friends were afraid that I could get in trouble with some rather conservative looking guys working at the ski lifts, so I kept my speedos on.
However we did some nude hiking up in the snowy alps and never got any problems. I really want to do a full naked snowboard ride once, but the last year we always had bad luck with the weather conditions.ReactReply - MI
MitchFeb 27, 2014I have seen pictures of it done, but I do not think I would try it.
One fall and you might really injure yourself. But then at least you would be able to ice it really well.
Stay Naked!ReactReply - TH
ThomasApr 15, 2014As a norwegian I'll pass.. way to cold here to go skiing nude!
i've seen pictures of people skiing/snowboarding etc in just shorts, but i think i'll keep my clothes on for that!ReactReply - LA
Lakeman221Jun 21, 2014
I'll pass on the snow, but regular water skiing sound fabulous!
If I were to get to ski nude it would be water skiing. I don't like snow and don't live where it snows much if any. To get out on a river and ski for miles without a stitch on, not even a PFD would be a blast.ReactReply - JO

I would be too worried about getting frostbite. Even though, it still sounds interesting.ReactReply - NK
nkhikerJul 20, 2018Might put it on my list for next spring. Find a good backcountry hill to skin up, in my skin, then ski down. On a sunny day with a bunch of sun screen, that would be a fun spring ski.

HghySjoerdh hJul 20, 2018Skiing naked, too cold for me. I prefer a lot of clothing when skiing....
Unless you mean waterskiing.... l have never done that, but if l had done that l could have done that nakedReactReply - MEMemberJul 20, 2018
I was naked on short ski tours.
I always chose beautiful and warm days. I also only chose days when there was powder snow (in the case of a fall it was so softer).
It was wonderful.

nkhikerJul 20, 2018It seems like at one of the smaller areas, may be Monarch, there was an unofficial naked ski day. The area looked the other way. I haven't heard of anything like that in recent years. It seems people are more prudish lately. It seems to me that with social media a small ski area could have a naked ski day one spring day and have a really good turnout. People would probably come from around the country for that chance to ski in the buff. However, you run the risk that the weather could ruin it.

BerkyJul 20, 2018Skiing nude? In the winter? No thanks. I enjoy both but not at the same time. When its cold out I'm fully dressed. :)
ReactReply - NUnudeyooperJul 22, 2018
Not necessarily nude, and not sure that it is still being done, but the ski hills in our area have sponsored bikini runs late in the spring which had been very popular. The sun bouncing off of the snow can be quite warm.

nkhikerMay 10, 2023It has been my thing this spring. I hope to get in a couple of more days.
ReactReply - MEMemberMay 15, 2023I'm impressed! We used to enjoy skiing in all temperatures (even some -40 days) and spring skiing was occasionally in shorts BUT... that's about as far as I'd dare push it. As I've aged, though we still ski warm is more appealing - clothed or unclothed. I'd love the opportunity to gowaterskiing nude but that's about it! :-) Two questions though: do you limit yourself to backcountry and how the heck do you get pants off over ski boots!? (Side zip coveralls I'm assuming?)ReactReply

Lakeman221May 16, 2023With the weather being warm, the water temperature has risen to the point of being tolerable to ski now. I have a friend who wants me to teach her how to ski and I have a new boat to tow with for skiing.
