Have you gone skinny dipping this summer? Is it a special occasion when you get to swim without your clothes on, or is it something you're fortunately able to do frequently?
I'll post my own answer to these questions in a little bit today, and let's make this a good, long thread.

Ross AngusOct 8, 2015Yes! We (me and the missus) were at a nudist beack in Skiathos from 14th to 20th Aug. So were naked all day and had frequent dips.
I only put on sarong for lunch at the beach bar and either a skirt or short shorts (that is short trousers - not underwear) for walking back to our accommodation at the end of the day.ReactReply - MEMemberOct 14, 2015
Went skinny dipping every time we visited our friends' pool. Plus our hot tub daily. Guess you can call that a hot dipping lol.

skyclad83Oct 21, 2015When I lived in Alabama there was a spring fed creek in the woods where someone made a rock dam. Even in the summer the swimming hole was cold. When Im having a stressful day I often think about my "happy naked spot". I love skinny dipping, but I would like to be around others who shares my love for naturism.

KeithOct 23, 2015I miss my skinny dipping days.
ReactReply - NUnudeyooperOct 26, 2015
70 degree water would make for a very short dip for me!
70 degree water would be warm to me. Too late in the season to be swimming out of doors and missed my opportunity for this summer, but have skinny dipped on a number of occasions in years past, nearly all of them in Lake Superior. I did have to trouble shoot some publicly owned indoor pool equipment from time to time and used that pool naked while waiting to see if my repair would enable the equipment to perform. Seems odd as to how customs change. When taking PE in college in 1968 we were required to swim nude.ReactReply - YSysletaNov 18, 2015
i attended a confrence with several co-workers, our hotel was by the beach late at nite and having many drinks we dare each other to skinny dip.

macnudeDec 1, 2015One of the greatest joys in my life is skinny dipping in the ocean. Next month a companion and I are going to Couples, Negril, Jamaica. This location was chosen because a nude beach is available. The total expense for this trip will be in excess of $ 3000.00. Had there been such a beach in my home state of South Carolina, last summer, we would probably forego this trip and the money would have been spent locally. While, not everyone can make a trip such as this, there are many that do. When will the public officials wake up to the fact, that designating a few areas where the anti-nudity laws are not enforced would be a boon to the local economy?ReactReply - MA
If a politician is worried about losing a single vote, mine would be for anyone else who would not be afraid of naked people on a beach.ReactReply - MEMemberDec 2, 2015I went skinny dipping at the local nudist lake about two months ago...really enjoyed it. I no longer have a pool in the back yard to my swims are somewhat limited. Maybe, in a year or so, I'll have another pool up and running and can get back to the old schedule. Nothing like coming in from mowing the yard in July, rinsing off, and jumping in the pool!!ReactReply

macnudeFeb 18, 2016A few years ago, there was a Roper poll that showed that about 18% of Americans have skinny dipped in mixed company. I feel sorry for the other 82%.ReactReply - JOJoeD1949Mar 10, 2016
Only special occasions for us... We spent a week at Club Orient in June and made a day trip to a local resort this month. We have a weekend in August and the long Labor Day weekend in September at a larger local resort. Then we have a four day weekend at Cypress Cove in October before the end of our outdoor skinny dipping opportunities for the year.

Those are our favorite vacation spots.ReactReply - FRFrenche93Mar 16, 2016
Have you gone skinny dipping this summer? MarkMar 27, 2016Whilst on holiday in an Asian country in 2014, I happened to be the only person in a textile resort after one guy checked out because the resort and surrounding area were too quiet. I'd spend days on a sunbed, towel around me which soon came off. I'd wear shorts into the sea, but throw them off and soon as I was in there and the beach was pretty much mine without a person in sight. Id have lovely, clothes free, swimming. What a rush!

KeithMar 27, 2016I introduced my wife into nudism by getting her to strip off in the water on a deserted beach in Central Vietnam, she enjoyed the feeling so much the costume was returned to the beach shelter and remained there for the rest of the day.
Even when a fishing trawler started trawlling the coast no more to 50 metres away did not stop her skinny dipping. She enjoyed being naked on the beach so much that when the wind blew the tent bag down the beach she just up and after it. It wasn't until she got back to shelter and I said you realise you are nude. Her response was a quick look around and chuckle and said she didn't give it a thought and I feel great.
Not bad for a first time outdoor nude experience. (We went back to that same beach a few years later and enjoyed another nude swimming day but our last trip there was dissapointing as they have built a number of textile resorts on our beach. Bummer).ReactReply - NINickAZMar 29, 2016
Yes. Love doing this when hiking. Have done many times. Also in pools and hot spa.

Shrty SidJan 23, 2017The beach was not a nudist area - but there were just 1 or 2 people walking on it. I got into the water and swam out about 50m from shore and slipped out of the swimming briefs and floated around free. (Never held on to anything as tight before as I did with the briefs in my hand!)
