gabareApr 6, 2011as a kid growing up in south florida i lived in a community that had two swimming pools very few used the small pool so i would remove my bathing suit and swim nude often, once in a while i would get caught by a adult but back in the 70's it was no big deal. as i got older i got into boating, sailing most and would sail and swim nude off the boat. nowdays i will swim nude in pool out back or swim off my kayak.

daves_ndtApr 6, 2011In college we hadan outdoor pool at the apartment complex too. We did manage some nude swimming however, especially during breaks when not too many students remained in town. Always ay night and we figured out how to turn off the unterwater light so anyone walking by really couldnt see us under the water anyway. One close call however, when the maintenance man came out to see why the light was off (someone must have reported it). Somehow we suspected he would show up that night and we had our suits on by the time he came.

George_in_WVApr 8, 2011

Wow, America home of the free but there are hot tub police??? Who tells you that you can't wear a suit? Public pools or private? What an interesting statement! We couldn't get the local pools here (public) to even consider a nude evening swim. Private, it's of course up to you and your fencing! I'm nude in my backyard pool sometimes and can hardly wait till my ivy covers the back fence!
There are many nudist resorts that are clothing optional rather than nudity required. In most of the areas you can be nude or dressed as you see fit, but in pools, hot tubs, or other water areas nudity is required. While don’t actually have official police checking to make sure this rule is complied with anyone wearing clothing in the pool without a really good reason would be as welcome here as a piece of steak at a vegetarian convention.ReactReply - DR
draconudistMay 20, 2011I have a private pool so skinnydipping is is the only way to swim. Here is a small swimming video I made.http://www.photoshop.com/users/nudist/assets/9c43e79416ce4f609408fb09244b217eReactReply - SO
SomerserttomMay 28, 2011
We had a pool in the backyard when I was a kid so I would skinny dip when my parents were not home. Otherwise a buddy and I would head to an old farm pond and skinny dip. Now that I'm older my wife and I put a pool in last year and we can go chunky dunkin' at night, lol.
'Chunky dunkin', love it whatver it is, but I can guess........ReactReply - KR

Cheri Donna DawsonMay 29, 2011Chunky dunking is what you do when you're no longer skinny. LOL
There's a sign in our neighborhood coffee shop that reads "We no longer skinnydip, we chunky dunk"

Cheri Donna DawsonMay 29, 2011My husband had an appointment with vocational rehab at the pool yesterday. Half-way there, he remembered he didn't have a swimsuit. When he called to re-schedule, he jokingly said that it's not a good rule that you must have a swimsuit. I guess he is a nudist. LOL

CabotCheeseJun 1, 2011

I love it... the sensation of freedom is very good :) and I bet everyone in this site loves it too
I'm certainly not confident enough to be out of my depth - not a natural swimmer, but easily prefer being naked in the water then in shorts.
Keep practicing :-) I too am not a great swimmer, but this year on a vacation to the Bahamas I became able to tread water and can now comfortably go out my depth without fear or anxiety. The ocean was so calm out there on the carribean side it was easy to learn. Old dogs can learn new tricks, it just takes a while.ReactReply - CA

The first time I swam nude I was in college and a bunch of his went hiking and camping and then all stripped down and swam nude in the river. Was so incredible that I was hooked right then and there. Now I swim naked in my pool and at the nude beaches. Nothing like it at all.

DanyBuoyJun 6, 2011I don't go swimming anywhere where I can't swim naked. It is a totally different experience to that when I used to wear shorts in the school pool. The swirling of the water over a fully naked body has to be experienced to be believed.

There's nothing better,as soon as the pool heats up thats where I'll be.

BrianJun 16, 2011It brings me great sadness to say this, but I've only gone swimming nude once. My hometown, as well as the rest of the province, literally has no designated areas for public nude recreation. There are two landed clubs, but one is in another city three hours away and the other one does not allow singles. It IS possible to rent out a local pool for a nude swim (which was the one time I went), but it does cost quite a sum.
It's genuinely quite depressing.

SoupieJun 18, 2011It really is the only way to swim. Up at the cottage, which is pretty isolated, I never wear a suit. The lake warms up nicely in the summer and it's so lovely to dive off the dark and swim beneath the stars at night.

Sunny Chinooks do welcome singles on a limited basis. They too are affiliated with FCN and AANR.ReactReply - BR
