My GF kinda discovered both in one swoop in St Martin last winter.

She has been going brafree for a long time, so that wasn't new to her. But going completely underwear free for an extended period of time was. When we went for strolls on the beach she loved the fact that a simple cover-up was enough.

We went to Club O. and I talked her into skinny-dipping with me. She was apprehensive - although topfree - so she waited until we got in the water to disrobe completely. Ad she could not stop about how awesome it felt once she was swimming nude. I'm not big into swimming but I waited for her since it seemed she didn't want to get out of the water!
We're going back to Club O in March; and she has already stated she wants to spend much more time swimming nude. She's hooked!!

If i could swim nude all the time I would. If I get the chance then I do. I don't wear underwear when I wear my bathing suit and I usually only wear underwear when I go to work because my pants are thin enough that you could see outlines of things and I need to keep my job. Other than work clothes, I rarely wear underwear.

I would like to wear less underwear than I do, but certainly have to wear for work, but I have an additional 'problem' in that I live in the hot sweaty tropics, and I have a pair of low hangers. Without underwear, my balls are constantly rubbing against my things as i walk and together with the humidity, things get red and sore quickly. Staying nude is the answer to this and luckily the climate allows for this. I have discovered a brand of underwear that actually gives the feeling of hanging free, which is great. I will try to post a shot to show you what I mean.

Skinny dipping can be fun, and it's completely natural. In fact, swimwear wasn't even invented until nearly 200 years ago, so people always swam nude before that. I learned this when writing a paper on nudism.

Up to Queen Victoria coming to the thrown nudity was the dress code for the seaside in England at least.

Going swimming in the summer while camping and skinny dipping with some friends is the best time to swim nude I think. As for underwear. I wear them cause my pants always hang low lol. At home tho it's a no underwear rule. My old house mates allowed no pants Sunday

I have always worn underwear. My brother used to go commando until he moved in with me. Because of a few of his friends asking oddly uncomfortable questions about it, I bought him underwear. There are days when I would sleep without underwear but not always.

Swimming? Nude, except where I'd get arrested!
Underwear? Why? It's an invention of the textile industry to make you spend money on a completely unnnecessary constricting layer! I've heard the old chestnut from ladies who say their boobs will drag on the ground if they don't wear a bra - ladies, you've been conned. A bra weakens the muscles which keeps your boobs attempting to defy gravity (check the research - it's all there). And as for shorts, g-strings, boxers, etc - what's the point? I haven't bought underwear in ten years (ever since my ex became my ex!)

Swimming nude is the best way. If I have to wear something, the smaller it is the better! I have had to wear a thong on a beach but removed it when in the water so I could be nude. Only reluctantly put it back on wading back into the shallows, Swim nude!

Shirley, thanks for the update on Rooster Rock. I will give it another try. Must have been a while since I was there, as I have not seen the changes you mention.
Swimming naked is the only way to swim. Once you have done it you feel offended when you have to to wear swimsuit . I used to wear underwear gave that up two years ago.
I sometimes wear underwear as outer wear. A pair of bikini briefs will keep me legal when the heat and humidity are too much to bear, and a pair of sports briefs serve as a swim suit when one is required.

I didn't think swimming nude would be any different, until I tried it. It feels great! Last time I swam nude was in the sea. My wife an I went did a short bush-walk and ended up at a small secluded beach. We didn't bring swimmers or towels because this walk wasn't our original plan. However the water looked so inviting so I just stripped off and went for a swim. My wife was too shy, so stayed clothed on the beach. The best thing was just getting out and walking nude on the beach and sitting on rocks until the sun dried me.

If had to choose between the two, swimming nude wins hands down as both wife and I usually wear underwear when wearing clothes. Notice I said usually, lol.

I have tried going sans-underwear and find it works only occasionally in jeans but not dress pants for me; just not my thing. I do have one swimsuit for when I need to wear it, but the need has to be there because I really don't like it. If I can swim without anything at all that is defiantly my choice.
