It's raining in Southern California? But, Hammond said, "It Never Rains in Southern California".

I was out nude walking the dogs yesterday morning when the skies opened up. After the initial shock of whoa! It's raining, it actually felt pretty good. So I stayed out and enjoyed the shower. Can't say the dogs liked it though. They headed for the house.

I remember one May where it had rain or a trace of rain every day of the month. The only thing I miss living in Arizona is not being able to grow tomatoes. Ohio does have the best tomato growing weather of any place in the world but that's not reason enough to live there.

thomasstierney you were lucky in getting a chance walk in the rain.
I am only a few miles from you and we did not get a drop.

Last Saturday, a group of Travelites were in the pool and a light sun shower started.  It was neat.

Today, I ran to the mailbox at the street to pull out a letter with returned fees from someone who was going to attend our canoe trip, but due to weather and high waters, we cancelled the event.   He said we could use the funds for the club.  This once, the mailman was early, and the checks were already on the way back to Cary, NC.   Some times I wish I didn't have as much integrity. LOL
