Things Done Naked — Things to do nude on True Nudists

I spent most of the weekend on a remote property we own. For most of that time, I can say that I wasn't sure exactly where my clothes were. They just weren't on my body. I did the usual nude hiking and yard work, but I also added two new activities to my list of things done naked.--target shooting and splitting wood. I did concede clothing for weed whacking. These were true weeds and weed trees, not grass. Having stickers or woody parts flung at high speed toward my bare private parts is not something I was going to brave.

Did you bring any clothes besides what you wore to get there?

I did, unfortunately. It's Wyoming, and the weather can be unpredictable. I also can I find myself doing things like fixing barbed wire fences, which is best done with jeans and a heavy shirt. However, other than taking out my toothbrush and related items, I didn't touch anything in my bag. I also have a great outdoor solar shower there.

Someone else on this board has noted that his home is clothing optional and on a few occasions he has had overnight guests walk in nude carrying only car keys and their toiletries case. In retrospect, you could have done the same, but I understand your concerns about tasks that should not be done nude and unpredictable weather.

good job doing life in the buff. You would be hard pressed to find some a chore that hasn't been done naked around this household.

One of the top requirements for me will be the ability to socialize and work outside the house naked. This afternoon I was sitting naked, reading a book in the sun in the little private area we made in the backyard. I had been pruning, and while I was sitting there, I saw more branches I wanted to cut in the backyard. My wife came out to tell me something. When she was done, I told her, "You know what bugs me. I can't go get the pruners and cut those branches." "Why not?" "Because I'm naked." "Well, put your shorts on." She missed the point.

Pretty much anything that needs to be done around the house, inside or outside (the back yard for now, at least) can and should be done in the nude. As long as it doesn't involve sharp, rotating tools or inherently unsafe acts you wouldn't do fully clothed. I do all my house cleaning, painting, gardening and laundry naked and now am starting to work in the garage on small projects in the buff.

It's amazing how it brings me so close to nature - and how grateful I am for protective clothing against thorns and flying embers. There's a difference between being a naturalist and a naturist, and sometimes for practical and safety reasons that line is best not crossed.

Most of the time I know where my cloths are when I am naked and that is in the bedroom.

Yes I also split wood nude but mainly cut offs of planks from work.

The odd time in the spring/autumn I have cloths abandoned in the garden when it was too cold to be naked and strip off and get naked as it gets warmer during the day.

Still curious if you ever leave your property and take no clothing with you.

Still curious if you ever leave your property and take no clothing with you.[/quote] A few times this might have happened when my shorts were left just inside the gates and I was working in the back garden but it isn't very often I get people coming in but one day lucky I heard the phone and it was my sister saying she was going to drop in with my youngest niece and my great niece so was able to cover up but they nearly just dropped in so I would have court out as they don't know about my nudist lifestyle. The second thing I have once done a drive and a countryside walk with no cloths with me at all which was fun.

Just last week I went on a hike in the nude. I drove up there nude and got out and started down the trail. It was in the woods and it was a winding trail. Never came up on anyone with the walk in or out. The only thing I saw was a squirrel, it didn't seem to mind me being just like it with nothing covering me.

My experiences with wildlife, mostly elk, and some moose, have been that they are less concerned about a naked person. I asked myself, if that made any sense, why would they care? Then a hunter had an explanation. Apparently, the optical brighteners in detergents really make you stand out like a lightbulb. Thus they equate that look with human. Without it, they are curious but not necessarily threatened. I haven't noticed any difference in how bears act, naked or not, which is a good thing.

I have some similar experiences. Been on hikes where some coyotes have crossed my path at a distance of less than 100 yards? They looked at us and just kept on going. On a few night walks dog and me walked up to animals without seeing them in the brush. The closest challenge was skunks. One we were 2 feet from when we spotted him. Night time and dark. We backed up slow. The skunk looked, turned, and left down his trail. Another time dog ran forward and went straight up to shunk, nose to nose. They said their hellos and how you doings. Skunk went on his way and so did we. Neither incident resulted in spraying. Had a coyote at night looking for dinner. He saw us and made a 30 foot circle past us. For me, animals seem more receptive of nude people as just another of them.

I used to live where I had 82 acres to roam nude. It was great being a photographer and getting so close to deer, owls and other animals. I could have a camera with me as long as I was naked. Put clothes on and I could only cover half the distance. I've been known on cooler days of stripping down and walking barefoot and naked to get close to deer and turkeys. It's only natural to be naked.

I have noticed that too. While walking naked in the woods you can get much closer to the wildlife than clothed. I have walked right up and stood within 10 feet of deer while they foraged.
