I was looking for options near me to be naked. I'm in Scotland and it's a bit cold and that is limiting my options. Nothing wrong with jusy being naked in the house just nice to be a bit more social. While I was looking I came across a naked hairdresser I can't think of anything I'd rather do less then get my hair cut naked. Bits of hair everywhere I'd be extremely itchy
I thought it might make an interesting topic. I'd there anything you would rather be clothed for?

ChrisJan 1, 2020I usually will wear an extra long t-shirt to cover my torso and crotch if I'm doing any frying as I cook. Gotta be careful of any unexpected splatters of the boiling oils

Reuben TitusJan 7, 2020Nothing is completely off limit to do void of garments. I weed eat, even doing briars and such, run the chain saw extensively cutting timber and firewood, weld, (but not a lot, if I weld for extended work I have to wear spark protection and arc burn protection, the arc is much more intense than the sunshine) do mechanic work, I actually prefer wearing as little as possible to get greasy. Only cold drives me under fabric, and I try not to offend the non nudists even though I think such pretended offense is stupid nonsense. Do have to wear shoes constantly since we have endless thorns to step on from quite a few different common species of weeds brambles and trees, but my preference is shoe sandals until it's too cold for them, then I'm forced to wear warmer boots. I do not cook splattery things in a skillet. Just pancakes now and then, and in time I plan to eat all things right from the plants in the garden, or with very minimal processing.

Obviously anything too cold, hazardous, or socially unacceptable I wouldn't want to do nude. But the question becomes more interesting for me when I think, is there something that I could be physically and socially comfortable doing nude but still wouldn't want to?
For me I can't think of any off the top of my head but there surely are some.

I guess it depends on how you handle things in the end.

Barefoot5977Mar 5, 2020Well I prefer my haircuts nude, both me and my barber wife:) Go out in the snow barefoot and naked regularly, well as regular as we get snow. Cook naked most anything , run the weedwhaker most always nude except for glasses. Even welded a bit, but probably wont go there again, was just a quick tack to hold a bolt temporarily.
Things I wont do nude, ride my street bike, anything offensive to the prudes, sharpening mower blades on the grinder,, sparks are ouches! Cant think of many others, Id rather wash me than clothes so dirt and grease arent a deterrent.ReactReply - CH

JohnMar 5, 2020Talking of wasps, I will always check for potential wasp nests when mooring my boat in future.
On one occasion I was boating naked on the River Thames and inadvertently moored up next to a bank in which there was a wasps nest with its entrance exactly level with my groin and was immediately surrounded by wasps. I immediately froze and they didn't touch me. I then gently moved away until they lost interest, surviving without a single sting.
The nest was exactly opposite the helm position so when I set off again I stared the engine and pushed the boat off, staying away from the helm and allowing the boat to drift until I was a suitable distance from the bank.ReactReply - MEMemberMar 5, 2020
That had the potential for a really bad couple of days.

I did pick black berries naked in my back yard. Close to the same. Gotta be very careful though.ReactReply - NO
noodengr2Mar 6, 2020It was not wasps but honey bees. They swarmed around an old wooden barrel in my landscaping. I went in and grabbed my camera and started taking pics. Even got within a meter or so. None bothered me at all. Within a half hour they had settled in with a handful of bees coming and going so I mowed the lawn like I wanted to when I discovered them. All this done nude and nary a sting

BerkyMar 15, 2020There's a lot of things I won't do naked. Like going outside when its cold and snowy...I prefer keeping the boys warm when I'm out in the cold. LOL I do get outside naked from time to time but I'm not an outdoorsman nudist. I'm not a big fan of bugs, plus I always have shoes on when outdoors.

I'm not much bothered by the cold.
This morning I have been ouside naked an barefoot many times, mostly for only a minute of so. It was 0C when I went out first and now it was 5C while I was outside for for a bit longer hanging out washing (32F and 40F).
The sun is warming things up nicely, though.ReactReply - NO

OllyMar 16, 2020I hate the cold but temperature is not the full story. A sunny, winless day can feel warm even at 0 deg. Add wind or lose the sun and even higher temperatures feel cold
I would happily use power tools but not a chain saw. And for cooking an apron will protect me from fat spatter.
I would not keep bees, clear out a wasps nest or clear thorny or stinging undergrowth naked.
