I know all you lucky people who work from home can work naked and if you work at a nudist resort you can as well but how about going to the office and stripping off with your co-workers.
Well i just saw an ad for people to work in the office completely naked - not just a 'one off' but every working day, there isn't any cheating allowed, not even shoes. The job is tele-sales so it's not customer facing but how cool would it be to work there, I'd love it.
So, does anyone work nude? I don't mean solo but with other naked people, I was wondering if anyone worked in a 'customer facing' role where you were naked? I've seen programs on the TV about people who work nude (usualy in Germany) just wondered how common it was!!

I've been working nude for over a week now, renovating the bathroom in my home. cutting wood, doing drywall, filling, sanding, and now painting. next will be installing my new fllor, then the new toilet, then the new cabinet and countertop. I know it isn't working with the public, but it does feel nice to do work while dont have to be dressed. My wife is even getting into helping with the painting and trim.
We love to be able to work nude! I've even posted a few pics of the reno in progress!
Sure would be a nicer world if this was the norm on some jobsites!ReactReply - JE

FF32404Jan 21, 2011Being a plumber out in the field all day, working nude would not only be dangerous, it would not be accepted very much, but at night when I'm at my office I'm nude quite often. I'm able to relax while getting paperwork done. When I'm in the chat room, I'm usually at the office anyway so it works out well.

Do they still offer the nude excursions?
As far as working in the nude, I have a small home based business restoring vintage bikes and I usually work on them outside. It's just too hot and humid to wear clothes during the summers in St louis, so I work in the nude as you can see by my avatar.ReactReply - MEMemberFeb 1, 2011
I'm an ER physician...work NOT nude! BUT, I only work two 24 hr shifts per week. Other days I run a horse farm. When riding students are not around I can do farm chores while nude. evening chores: feeding and bringing in horses are often done nude. Ride Tractor to clip pastures etc while nude. Work on Fences nude most of the time. Yard of home is secluded so can do some yard work naked. I have a good driveway alarm (the only way into farm) so know when public visitors are approaching and keep "emergency" cover handy just in case. Feels great to work outside naked and it seems less tiring to work without textiles restricting movement. Almost caught a few times but that is for another thread.

This guy was a tin miner in Cornwall, it is a hot job so he used to work in just a hard hat and boots. He heard someone coming down the tunnel but assumed it was a work mate, then he heard "and this, your Royal Highness, is.....". However, I think I may have found my 'career' after I retire from the current one - working at or owning a nudist resort. It wouldn't be like work at all.

daves_ndtMar 20, 2011You don't have to work at home or in a nudist camp to work naked, you just have take advantage of opportunities when they come up. Of course, sitting naked in your your cubical usually isn't a good idea, but when the job includes field work there can be options. One summer my job shifted to mapping roads in central Nevada. This is about as remote an area as one can find so usually we mapped in pairs. However, being a small office, we all were good friend as well as co-workers. The work entailed driving every road to its end, then driving the next road to its end. We camped along the way, for 3-5 days. These weren't interstate highways, but mostly remote two-tracks trailing up into one of the many mountain ranges that run through Nevada. The routes were often rough and required 4WD, which we had, but extended driving up steep routes in 4WD tended to overheat our vehicles making itg necessary to drive with the windows open and the AC off. Given that we were driving slow, we didn't get much cooling of ourselves from the draft through the windows.
We were pretty casual with our dress, shorts and t-shirts or less. Sometimes a lot less. There was little likely hood of meeting anyone else as we drove these remote routes, so that was not a concern. We also sometimes were naked in camp as well; washing down after a day on the road and then not bothering to dress afterwards. Hot springs and clean stock tanks offered welcome relief along the way and were always enjoyed nude.
On some occasions, I went out unaccompanied, to pick up routes we had missed or areas where our mapping had gaps. These were usually 2-3 day outings into remote country. I enjoyed alot of this time nude, alot while driving and entirely while camping in the evenings.ReactReply - CHChuckSep 28, 2011

flsmoothieJan 9, 2012For the first 15 years of my software development career I wore the uniform of business suit and tie. The exceptions were weekends, casual Fridays (when that became the custom), and when working at a client site where business casual was the rule.
When I first starting working from home nearly 17 years ago, I wore walking shorts and a shirt. Basically, golf clothes. The idea of working nude was not something I had even heard of, much less considered for myself, even thought I was a frequent beach nudist.
Because my Florida home office would get warm from the computer equipment, after a few months I decided to remove my shirt for comfort. I had never worked shirtless. It took a while to get acclimated, but I kept my naked chest to the grindstone. I found being physically more comfortable while working was something I enjoyed. It was not much longer when I decided to try working completely without clothes, figuring more comfort would be even more enjoyable. And it was.
Another advantage of working nude is not having to make any wardrobe decisions in the morning; just get out of the shower and get to work! Unfortunately, I do not work nude all the time. If it is not convenient or comfortable, due to the need to go outside a lot or cooler weather, I will be clothed. Also, my wife now works with me from home, and sometimes to enable a more professional atmosphere, I will not be naked at the keyboard.ReactReply - SP
spideymann66Jan 9, 2012I was the night DJ at a small radio station in the late 80's, early 90's and a few times I did strip down and did a few breaks nude! It was quite exciting because the DJ booth was in the front window right downtown! Granted, it was around 11pm in a small town, but anybody passing on the sidewalk would have got an eyefull.....
