Can anything be done about the what seems like daily influx of new members hwho use photos they find on the net and use on their profile and then try and friend a lot of people at once hoping some will bite and they then go chat on another platform and they mostly turn out to be scammers. I know they are scammers as I try and find out about them first with certain questions and also if the photo looks like it came from a porn site or only fans page i search it out and yes i am usually right. Are many other experiencing contact from accounts like this.

Definitely experiencing it. You already have the answer to your question - If a new profile reaches out to you with a generic friend request, message, or profile like that makes no real reference to your account and offers an off-site communications channel, you know it's fake. You can flag it, until you get tired of flagging profiles, or you can ignore it. (At least, the flood of fake male accounts that was reaching out to people who had ticked the "gay" box has ended. All the fakes nowadays seem to be female.)

It seems that I get friend requests nearly every day. Most with no comment at all. One sent a request within the first hour since she enrolled. I know how amazing I am that she'd be instantly interested in a married man on the other side of the county as the lasting relationship she claims to be seeking. Some are just too funny. I block, I flag, I delete.

For a website called True Nudists there sure are a lot of fake accounts! Couldn't we just make certification mandatory? With a grace period for existing unverified profiles to do it within 3 months?
