About Skeptics, atheists and critical thinkers
This is a group for nudists who are also skeptics, atheists and critical thinkers. In other words, it’s a group for nudists who base their beliefs on science and evidence, and reject beliefs based on pseudoscience or the paranormal. In practice, this means we don’t believe in any gods or other supernatural beings (such as ghosts, angels or demons) because there is no compelling evidence that they exist. For similar reasons, we also reject belief in psychic powers, astrology, alien visitations and virtually all forms of alternative medicine. There is no compelling scientific evidence that they exist or work. If you’re new to skepticism and would like to understand more about skeptical thinking, try listening to a few episodes of the “Skeptics Guide to the Universe” podcast. This explains how we think. Finally, this is not a forum to debate whether homeopathy works, or whether psychic powers might be real, or whether God really exists. This is a “safe space” for skeptics and atheists to discuss their ideas with like-minded thinkers, to promote science and critical thinking - and ultimately to make the world a better place!
Group Rules
Be empathetic and respectful. Please don't come to this group to try to argue in favor of alternative medicine, religion or other non-scientific beliefs. That type of debate can happen in other forums. This is a group for people who already accept that those beliefs are not true and want to move on and consider where to go from here.
