Social Nudism/Naturism and Suicide Prevention

Suicide is a preventable epidemic. Those who attempt or succeed at ending their life via suicide often feel helpless, hopeless, worthless and alone. They don't necessarily want to die, yet they see suicide as the only solution to ending the pain they are experiencing in their lives. This group is intended to stimulate discussions on whether there is or could be a positive correlation between social nudist and suicide prevention. Personal and Environmental Protective Factors tend to buffer individuals from suicidal thoughts and behavior. Some of the Protective Factors include: Easy temperament, optimistic outlook, social/emotional competence, high self-esteem, self-worth, sense of belonging to a group or organization (cohesion/camaraderie/support), encouragement to participate, among others.
