Bird Island, NC

It's not legally nude but people have been enjoying discreet nudity there for at least 50 years. I always go there around the last week of June every year and I am always able to be naked if I keep a respectful I out for beach runners or bikers or walkers and stay relatively close to the dunes for privacy.

This is an area of Beach a mile or so long that is totally uninhabited between the Little River inlet in South Carolina and Sunset Beach North Carolina. The only way to reach it is by boat near the Little River inlet or to go out to the beach at Sunset Beach and walk towards South Carolina for a couple of miles.
