Head out of Cambridge towards Grantchester Meadows via Newnham, towards St Catherine's Sports Grounds. Where the hard road ends and becomes gravel, there's a footpath down to Skaters' Fen. At the end of the path is a fence with a door. The Riverbank Club is located here. Membership fee charged, but it's fairly nominal.
