About Prora Bucht
Prora Bucht, nestled on the picturesque island of Rügen, is a gem for nudists and naturists seeking the liberating experience of a clothing-optional beach. Known for its serene, sprawling shoreline, this nude beach offers an escape into nature's embrace, away from the hustle of clothed beaches. The area holds a rich history as part of the colossal Prora resort, originally planned by the Nazis for recreational activities. Today, it stands as a beacon of freedom and relaxation, embracing the FKK (Freikörperkultur) culture that promotes a naturist lifestyle. Visitors can enjoy the clear waters…
Directions
Prora can easily be reached by car, bike, train, ferry (from Trelleborg to Sassnitz) or boat. Take Strandstrasse (beach rd) to Poststrasse and turn towards beach. There is a parking lot where fees are only collected on weekends (3€) and you can camp. There is a path between the huge blocks of the old Nazi-KdF hostel to the beach.
