Simon's cove

Secluded Rocky cove hidden down behind a cliff face. Awkward track down from the house at the car park but worth it. Can be busy when tides are suited to swimming in mid day afternoon so try and go when tides are in morning or late evening. Very deep pool to jump in when tides are right and great sheltered water.

Head towards ring village from clonakilty, then pass kitty Macs pub on your left up to a 4 cross roads (the road actually continues to the right) go right and stay on that main road, pass the community center/gym on the bend keeping right. Up the hill to a Y in the road go right, up the hill again and straight through the junction up to another junction almost immediately a triangle in the road…
