Sullivan Quarry

The upper and lower quarry have been a local swimming hole for almost half a century. In the upper quarry is clothing optional depending on the company, there is a floating dock and cliffs to jump off of. The lower quarry is a well established nude beach and sunbathing area.

Route 1 north from Ellsworth. Left onto Taunton bay road by the little gazebo. Right onto quarry road/Fr-10. Go all the way to the end and stay to the right. There is a parking turnout on the right. You will see the cliffs of the upper quarry to your left, there is a 2 track road that doubles back on the road you came in on. That goes to the lower quarry. 4wd only but it's a short walk.
