I've mostly been a home nudist over the years, when my living situations have allowed. I've lost about 35 lbs recently, and although my body isn't quite where I want it to be, I am starting to feel a bit more confident enough to venture into the world of public nudism. (Body image issues are a horrible burden). I've always found nudists to be quite wonderful people. For the most part they are genuinely accepting of others, respectful of diversity, honest with themselves, and open to new ideas, concepts, and experiences. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends in the naturist/nudist community. Update: Though Oregon is home for much of the year, I'm in Utah for work for a few months at the moment. Blues, Indy, Alt, Classic Rock, Classical, Opera, 80's New Wave/Punk. My teen years were during the 'music revolution' happening from the late '70's to the mid '80's. I despised pop and Top-40 music, but was obsessed punk, new wave, and underground music. This was a time unlike anything that had come before or since. These days I listen to everything from Hoagy Carmichael to Lady GaGa, and Bach to B.B. King. Some artists that get frequent play on my iPod lately are The Avett Brothers, Ghostland Observatory, Adele, Florence and the Machine, David Bowie, Devendra Banhart, Marina and the Diamonds, The Cave Singers, The Kinks, MGMT, Jack Johnson, Bon Iver, Sia, Vetiver, The Eels, ...

I love good film. Not so into the stuff coming from Hollywood, but Indy, Foreign and Art cinema I love. I hit several film festivals each year, partly for work, and for my interest in film and film making. Some movies that stick in my mind as favourites include: Theory of Flight, Orlando, Tarnation, Short Bus, The Pillow Book, The Linguini Incident, Mondo New York, A Room with a View, Anything with Katharine Hepburn, Kundun, Un Coeur en Hiver, The Afterlife..
