The issue of circumcision is not that important to me but one of the things that troubled me growing up was that I had no one I could talk to about it. I am circumcised. I do think uncircumcised looks best but I don't know if it is best because I don't know any uncircumcised people willing to share their perspective on it. I grew up in an ultra-conservative state where honest talk is taboo. This also applies to other health questions. I learned about testicular cancer from youtube. Much of what I learned about health, I learned from youtube because the men where I live clam up super tight whenever the subject is even mentioned. The culture I live in thinks nudity is sex and anything related to the body is sex. Therefore, even asking a guy his opinion on circumcision is interpreted as foreplay. I find myself often frustrated with both gay and straight. Trying to talk with the straight men I know, I have to avoid certain subjects like the plague. Trying to talk with the gay men I know, I repeatedly have to remind them that I'm not looking for sex. So part of what got me into nudism was not that I want to run around naked. Instead, it's that I'm tired of always having to be clothed. I'm tired of always having to keep my mouth shut about certain subjects. I'm tired of always having to be on my guard in case, oops, someone sees me when I'm not wearing a professional suit. One of my earliest nudist experiences was cleaning. I was alone. It still felt liberating to take off all the disguise society expected me to wear and just clean. It is still one of my most favorite naked activities. I strip to do dishes. I at least take off my shoes and socks before I do general cleaning. It makes it so much easier to keep my clothes clean by not wearing them while I clean my house. Changing the subject a little, I do find men attractive. BUT and that is an extremely big BUT, I find them attractive in a more aesthetic sense, not so much in an erotic sense. God created beautiful male and female bodies and the way male muscle works together is a work of art. So I'm not looking for mixed gender nudity. I'm okay with it. I don't consider it to be wrong to have men and women naked together. It's just not really what I'm looking for. I'm looking to make friends with other guys who are comfortable enough with their own bodies that they can strip down and enjoy a sauna together. I'm looking for guys who are comfortable letting down their guard and talking about what's real. The straight men where I live are too busy chasing girls and cannot understand just how nice it is to be naked with the guys. The gay men where I live are too busy chasing guys and cannot understand just how nice it is to just be friends. Therefore, I have not felt comfortable at certain nudists groups because some nudists groups are nudists in name only but in reality, everyone in the group is busy chasing something. So I'm not going to friend everyone. I'll friend those who aren't chasing. I do happen to be a Christian but obviously I am not an ultra-conservative. I don't care if you are gay or straight. I care more about whether you are chasing or not because if you are chasing, I can't relax around you. But anyone who can relate to my desire for a relaxed, open friendship without having to be on guard all the time, I would love to be your friend.
