Until recently my adventures in public nudity were all positive. I enjoy working as a nude model for the art school at the Univ. of North Texas. In July, one of the UNT figure drawing instructors, who is also a friend of mine, did a photo shoot of me posing nude and walking the halls, stairways and studios of the art building. I visited my friend Paula in Ohio in August and she took several photos of me gettin' naked in public places like parks and historical locations. Recently, I began a series of nude walks late at night in my neighborhood, including one of over an hour in duration. The first four went well and I met with a mostly positive (or indifferent) reaction from the dozens of people who saw me, including a request to pose for photos. But my luck changed with the fifth walk and I got busted by the local police and spent several hours in the Denton city jail. Fortunately, I was only charged with "disorderly conduct," a class B misdemeanor. I'll go to court on Nov. 3 and I hope to receive a small fine and a sentence to community service. I'll have to be much more careful about public nudity from now on, at least on the streets of Denton. Texas!
