I originally posted this on my blog, It's a Nude Heat . I went to another one of those weekly parties that the local Burner community does. They had a pool and as it got later, I wanted to swim. I had talked to one woman there earlier in the evening and she talked about swimming, even though the water was chilly. “I don’t have a swimsuit. I hope it’s okay to get in with my clothes on,” she said. “I’m the opposite. I hope it’s okay to go skinny dipping,” I said. She laughed. “No rules!” she said. I talked to the owner of the house. Even though it’s a Burner party, I always ask because there are places where we can’t do nude swimming. It sounded like he was reluctant, but then said, “It’s dark, just put on a towel when you get out.” I always do at these parties anyhow. It’s not much to ask. I started to get undressed, and the friend I came with went to change into a swimsuit. The woman I talked to earlier about swimming got in the water and said, “You’re getting in too?” “Yes,” I said while pulling down my underwear. I got in. “Oh my God, you really are naked!” she said. “Sure, why not?” “That’s so awesome. I wish I could do that.” She told her friends: “This guy is cool; he got naked!” She high fived me for being naked. I didn’t expect that.
