Any Filmmakers Out There?

I've been a naturist for many years, but one thing I've rarely encountered is other people who share my interest in filmmaking and visual storytelling. Years ago, I moved to LA (currently in the SoCal Palm Springs-adjacent desert) to pursue a career in film. I worked on a few music videos, commercials, and straight-to-video movies before life took me in a completely different direction and I ended up in banking. These days I find myself writing a lot and feeling drawn back toward filmmaking. I'm currently developing several independent short films inspired by mythology, symbolism, nature, and the human experience. Most of my work incorporates naturist themes in a non-sexual context and is heavily influenced by mythology, visual symbolism, early silent cinema, and tableau-style storytelling. Some influences include Kenneth Anger, Pink Narcissus, Nerides: Fall of the Subterrestrial Hive, Symbolist art, mythology, and experimental film told through tableaux and visual allegory. I'm not posting this as a casting call (at least not yet!). My goal is simply to meet other creative people so we can talk shop, exchange ideas, share experiences, maybe collaborate someday, and help each other bring projects to life. I'm especially interested in connecting with filmmakers, actors, performers, and others actively involved in creating narrative or experimental films.
