India, a country which gifted the world with Kamasutra and finds a person in his natural state without clothes to be against its cultural values. Strange! Since school days, when I used to have a bicycle, I used to go out of the small town where we lived and be naked beside the road among the bushes. As I started getting used to it, I used to walk around the area, 'exploring' the place in the nude. I've come across the occasional passer-by who never bothered to ask why a 14-15 year old was roaming naked. They just used to see and walk away as if nothing happened. Some used to stop and ask if everything was all right. I used to answer in the affirmative and they used to go away. This is when I was still boyish and people did not make a big deal out of it. It was a small town, and many houses did not have toilets anyways, so it was not abnormal for a guy to be naked outside, but what used to attract attention was a completely nude guy walking around. But as I said, because of my age, I could get away with it. Slowly, I started cycling nude in the outskirts. Things started to get uncomfortable when I started to show more maturity and people used to ask me to cover up. So I now had to make sure that I was completely out of sight of people when I'm nude. This was till a couple of years ago, when I badly wanted to have a nude get away. I found a Ayurvedic resort near where I live which offered 'live-in' treatments, meaning, it provided residential accommodation while you got massages and other ayurvedic treatments. It was set amidst greeenery and the mountains. Very secluded and calm, about an hours drive from where I live. i sent out an email on thier enquiry page, asking for a week-end stay, with complete privacy. I was told it was possible. They elaborately explained all their offerings in an email along with the costs. I replied back saying I needed only the room and a massage. But most importantly, I needed to be able to be without clothes within the resort and it's gardens, which is why I needed the privacy. I repeatedly confirmed that I would need privacy and I was promised the same. As I drove there, I was wearing a long T-shirt and shorts. As I left the city and headed into the mountains, I removed my shorts and put it in the glove box. I called the manager in advance and told him to expect me at around 3:00 PM. I reached there about the time given. I really enjoyed my drive without the shorts and as I entered, I did not bother wearing them back on. I thought of doing so at the reception. But as I drove down the gardens into the reception area, i did not feel the need to. I walked in, wearing only my tshirt. The manager came out to meet me. He welcomed me and led me straight to my room. I just relaxed for a moment and walked out of the room, again in my tee. Walked across a lot of staff, male and female. Casually wished a few. As I was strolling, I was stopped by a boy who was gardening. He asked be about my state and I told him that I was here to relax and he just went about his work. I walked to the main gate as I was thirsty. The security guard asked me where my pants were. I told him that I was here to relax. He gave me water and I asked him where I can have privacy and some sun. He pointed to a small hillock within the campus. I walked my way up among the bushes and now I was completely nude. I kept my tee among the bushes and continued my walk up. The security guy sent someone after me. I was about a Km from my tee. I heard the rustle among the bushes as he walked up. I casually spotted a clean rock and stretched out and relaxed. This guy, in his early 20's (Or younger) walks up to me and asks if everything is all right. I said yes. He said that the security guard asked him to be with me to make sure I stay away from snakes and wild dogs. I told him it was nice of him and asked him to sit beside me. We spoke on a variety of topics. He did not ask me why I was nude nor did I tell him. It was a natural conversation, as if I was clothed. was very nice feeling Then came dinner time. There is a community dinner hall. I again went to my room, freshened up, wore a new tee and went to dinner. It was a nice hall with a simple vegetarian buffet. There were a few girls to serve water and help with the food. I was wondering if I should go with only a tee, but then without much thought, I just went it. They acted as if all was normal and helped me get my plate full and I sat on a table. Another couple walked in for dinner, in thier mid 40s. They joined me at my table as I was the only one having dinner there. They were here for a back therapy as the husband had had a fall and needed massages. They were staying for a week. They asked me why I was here. I told them that I was a naturist and liked the freedom and peace. After dinner, they invited me to their room. We spoke on a variety of topics including naturism and it was great time. Early next morning, I again went out when it was dark. The only problem was a lot of dogs were barking. Otherwise, it was peaceful. I went to the hillock as the sun was just rising and enjoyed the cool early morning breeze along with the warmth of the sun. I walked back naked almost till the resort and wore my tee shirt. A lot of people saw me naked, but did not say anything. The lesson I learnt that day, was that people are not offended by nudity. It is your behavior and gestures that make them uncomfortable and want to 'run away' or 'complain' or thing you are a 'freak'. As long as folks don't feel threatened by your behavior they take it in their stride. I never had an erection (maybe I was semi-erect at times), but I was not focussing on my groin or the groin of others'. This has given me confidence and I have been nude in a lot of other situations since then. I always take care to ensure I'm not exposed to women or children unnessarily. Has worked for me till now. Will talk about my other experiences too in later blogs. Thanks for taking time and reading my blog.
