It's a gorgeous day here, it feels like the first real taste of summer. I've got an exam coming up a fortnight today and I REALLY should be revising for it. The one advantage of having been made redundant, is that I can put a decent amount of effort into my revising AND I can work at my desk naked ! Today the weather is just stunning as it has been over the weekend, the idea of sitting at my desk, even naked, didn't seem to feel right. So I gathered up a few things and headed out of the door just before 9am. 10 minutes later I'm at the level crossing thats in my pictures. I'm another 15 mins from the spot where I'm planning on sunbathing, but that sun is just too tempting. So I divest myself f shorts and t shirt, decide to take the cheeky photos at the crossing (there is a housing estate on the far side, but a nature reserve on mine.) and head off down the path keeping a wary eye out for dog walkers. After a few minutes walking feeling the sun heating my skin and the gentle breeze cooling it, I detour into the woods. It's quiet other than birdsong and I spare a passing thought for my ex colleagues trapped in a greenhouse of an office, but not too much of one as I wander through the woodland. 20 minutes later I'm about to cross a path when I see a dog walker approaching me, I duck back before he sees me, damn, he's going the same way I wanted to go. I wait 5 mins until he disappears and resume my original path. When I get to the clearing at the end of the path there is no sight of him. I'm back in full sunshine now after the cool dappled sunlight of the woods, It's like someone opened a furnace door. I stroll across to the little copse of trees I use for sunbathing and settle myself down, shoes off, towel down, suncream on. I potter around take a few self portraits before settling down to enjoy the sunshine. I've been lying there about 20 mins when I look up in time to see a older chap walking his dog on a path about 20 ft from me. He didn't look in my direction, so I remained invisible. 10 mins later I looked up again and sawa woman walking away down the path. I have no idea if she saw me but I'm doing nothing wrong and I am as out of the way as I can manage. but my little spot is obviously not as quiet as I'd hoped. After an hour in the sun I decided I had better head home and get on with some revison. As you might be able to guess, I'm still procrastinating by posting pictures and writing this, but I just wanted to share with you all the delight of my naked hike and morning sunbathing. Hopefully not too many of you are stuck in offices as you read this.... Ok, time for a quick Lunch, and then some revison... exam -14 days...
