Fees

Why can't all these places just add all their fees in to one cost so I am not superized when I get somewhere? I don't normally complain about things, but I find this redicuals!! I went to Empire Haven a few weeks ago, and after you add up the Grounds fees, the site fees, and what ever other fees I was charged it becomes outragious to camp...As I look at new places to go, I try to look for and add up all the fees and charges but some are just hard to figure out. The place I went last weekend has no charges posted on the website, and I was really concerned about how much it was going to cost, so I called, he told me basicly 15 bucks if your single 25 for a family.... I immediatly asked him about all his other fees... there were none.. So I went, had a great time, and was out 20 bucks... (15 was just to little to pay) Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for what I get, I just think the price you pay should be up front... and not a mystery... In defense of Empire Haven, they have a beautiful resort, with lots of stuff to do, and I have a wonderful time during my visit, my complaining is not aginst them, but in the way most "resort" like places do their rates. I like to know what to expect before I get to where I am going.
